WIND seems certain (wind keeps your kite aloft, you wind up the string to reel it back in).
Kites can be shaped like a TRIANGLE or BAT. Or, more rarely, ROUND. I think Lewwyn lives in China, though, which would make round kites more common?
A kite is a kind of bird, I believe. Do they eat FISH?

I agree that WIND and TRIANGLE are strongest (other words would be clued differently), so:

Yeah, the missing word cant be BOOM otherwise a (2) would have sufficed. and This clue isnt doubling up on the CYBERWARFARE otherwise it would just say (3) id suppose.

Id go with FISH for Phishing as the "+1" with BAT-TOWER being a given.
