Overview of the cities ive captured. (5) in total. it will be a couple turns before i grab any more cities as im currently very heavily injured vs the MJMD capital stack. I will however continue to slowly eat his other cities one by one until my production advantage + AGG praets eat that capital as well.
Luckily, he made up for his rather good luck last turn with losing more than he killed this turn. I have more healthy units than he does, and i have more units than he has Hwachas in the sense that according to pb43, collateral's targeting for damage is VERY weird and at certain points becomes pointless. I think my stack is currently at that point. I hope he continues to use up those Hwachas though as i continue to bombard his defenses down. I think when this next round of Praets get down there, ill be ready to start eating his stack. Meanwhile, the western stack will be heading towards the capital as well, but MIGHT detour down south a bit more to take that city depending on what the chariots see.
Once the war is over, (15t at this rate, not counting taking the island city he must have ) ill take better pics of the conquered land.

Im predicting that t139 that capital falls. Capital falls, so does his main defensive city. Everything else will be as simple as walking upto it ( kinda like all of his west coast cities were )

Now, what to do when the war ends?
Well... im FAR FAR FAR behind in techs. So, my plan is to whip/build as many courthouses as i can, followed by wealth builds to fuel research to safety techs. Currently Engineering for 3move roads + pikes, and then Knights-Cavalry. I may slot in eating Vanrober if things go well. Right now? im playing for 2nd place. With my only "real" chance of winning this is Lazteuq and El Grillo get bogged down while dragging Plemo down and Ramk/GKC continue some sorta bloodfued. Who knows.

Lost a praet and a catapult to kill 2 axes and a spear to take his capital. He's fleeing with his remaining 6 or so axes + 3ish hwachas?
Going to see if i can cut him off before he gets to the next hill city. At the very least, him moving prevents him from healing.

Demos are crap. I did JUST whip half of MY cities for courthouses because maintenance is killer on this map. So hopefully that allows me to grow back into some kinda decent tech rate so i can get Longbows + pikes incase France decides to give Plemo the win instead of hitting him with stacks of knights ferried over.. but thats probably a pipe dream at this point.
2nd most cities i think ive had in a pitboss. And not by much.. Would be interesting to be left alone for 20t or so and then just wealth build my way to rifles? Idk, sucks not having Ragnar. Probably could have beat one of my neighbors with HA's had i just went true vanilla and chosen a Fin leader. Oh well, food for thought.
The remainder of Mjmd's power stack. Sadly there is ONE damn spear in there, so i cant slam into it with my several chariots. Plan is to move a chariot SE and check if that city is empty. If it is, move one praet + 2 chariots onto the hill and move the rest of that stack NE.
What i have In-Theater. Bombard, then slam into it if he still has his units in it.
Questions?

Opened this turn not to a iron/iron/copper/copper ect deal being sent back by France, but instead to a decent chunk of French units moving towards my border for what i can only assume is the hope that i cant defend, AND that Egypt can hold his own against Plemo which is shaky at best.
So, before that was even looked at.. ( and this may have tilted me over the edge for the previously mentioned/alluded to thing.. )
I took THAT fight. Should have been a easy victory, with maybe a turn or two healing before finishing off the city which was guarded by a spear ( i had a chariot also under the praet ) WELLL.... lost that one and then i looked north and yeah...
So i razed his border city guarded by an axe and then sent him a peace treaty. Maybe he gets the message before i start whipping everything into the ground and force him to think about his life choices? Or maybe i slam catapults and praets into Knights and Maces.
Oh yeah, and Mjmd is being extra spiteful ( i would be too ) by having 3 triremes heading up the coast. Preventing me from really using any galleys to take his final city ( good idea.. /shelves it for later ) and forcing me to whip triremes of my own. Cant wait to see those 50/50 battles...
Razing that city gives me dominate culture on the tile that worker was roading, which is a funny tile to be roading when it isnt connected to ANY other roads. Right? Next turn i expect 2-3 knights to be within striking distance of Plymouth Cuda. 99% sure ill have enough in the city to prevent a rush attack, and unless i miscounted... ill have plenty of catapults to throw at whatever stack comes over the border.

Demos are pretty shit, and my economy wont recover enough to put me in spitting distance of Plemo unless a HOT war happens over there. However, France is finishing Engineering EOT so thats going to be fun. I wont lose any cities next turn due to some careful management of units/whipping. But it is very likely ill have to whip a round of longbows from most of my cities to force him to have to actually Siege my cities. If i can force him to siege my cities and not just bypass them with knights, i think i can stall him at our current border. Although i do see myself losing my 2 most recent cities ive planted on that border. Which sucks, but i can deal with losing those. Harder to lose say.... Plymouth Cuda, or Dodge Viper. If he doesnt commit to whipping his empire into the ground to conquer me, he wont be able to. Still in the belief that the game Needs to be called based on France's decision Alone. ( regarding Plemo obviously winning the game )
I believe the game wouldnt have needed to be called had France gone and conquered GKC/ramk area, and been an extra dogpile player vs plemo along with ElGrillo. I need 50t to get any kind of tech rate worth a damn, and then and only then would i be a true threat to replace plemo. Probably after either consolidating and teching to knights/cavalry myself and eating Vanrober, or by teching to astro and helping take down Plemo's seaborne empire.
Either way, i did enjoy this donut/fritter map. I didnt enjoy my pick as much as i wanted to, and given a complete restart of this pb id have chosen Darius ( i think he was legal to choose? ) Because damn these maintenance costs are KILLING me.
Anyway, sent France a peace offer with a 50g incentive to hopefully tempt him to think about the pitboss as a whole, and not just a long long fight vs me.

Man i hate torid maps. The maintenance is insane. LOOK AT THAT. And we arent even that far from my capital for fucks sake.
Anyway, used some catapults to weaken some of France's knights so that one of my best cities doesnt fall this next turn. Although it will fall the next turn because of course.
The theme song for my troops ^ ( the first half or at least the La Resistance parts )
