There's lots of different ways to look at this one.

I think DISEASE is my #1 pick, for obvious reasons. KID would be number 2, but surely there's a better way to clue those 2 words. (Pox?)

Both TORCH and TEMPLE also have potential, I would pair one of the first group with one of the second. I'm not sure which pairing would best fit Scary though, will wait and see what the rest of the team thinks.

Pre-spoilers:

This is actually kind of a broad and subjective clue to apparently only have two words associated...

A scary Temple?

The Ring is a scary movie.

A scary Figure?

Diseases are scary.

Kids are sometimes the antagonists in scary movies, and get scared.

I guess someone from Iowa might find New York scary ( neenerneener )


Post-spoilers:

I feel confident enough to Point to Ring, even if only sunrise caught it.

Not sure for Word 2, assuming Ring is red.
