I see a bunch of green culture that will probably be going away in the coming turns.

Well, the two movers are tied down defending a city, the city garrison troops are in the field... they all seem to have a lot of move left, given that it is your half of the turn?

OK OK the answer was, "Your Cuirassier are now Cavalry." We spent roughly 1000 gold to upgrade them.

It reminds me of the Australian final when Henin quit against a dominant Mauresmo, just cause she knew she was going to lose. It took a nice moment away from her opponent (and left the fans bitter and confused).

Speaker did tell me I was going to be dead within the hour...I had assumed it was RL, but maybe he meant in PB2 .

Simul turns Pitboss doesn't show when other civs' units have used their movement. We ran into this in the Apolyton game, when we suggested to Rabbits (I think?) that they could move a horse to whack an empty PAL city, when that horse had already moved that turn.

Where did that gold come from? I was under the impression you only had 300-400 to play with...

We had about 750 and got another 250 or so from city captures this turn, and had pretty much no unit expenses because we are keeping all our units inside a city this turn, so could afford to burn the gold. 8 city captures over the past 4 turns, plus the addition of 40gpt from the shrine has helped our economy. We should be able to up our tech rate by another 10% once the Kathlete cities come out of resistance and become contributing members. Many of them have markets or grocers in tact.

We had about 650g at the start of the turn. Dantski gifted us another 385g to upgrade his units (which we did not use), then we captured 270g from Hoth and Dantooine. I thought we would want to save some gold for emergency expenses, but Speaker just went ahead and used all of it on cavalry upgrades. Oh well, probably better than anything else we could waste it on.
I haven't looked at the new turn yet, but Dantski played his turn, and whipped a total of 3 cities. I don't think he understands what it means to go into total war mode...
Although we would like to save Dantski's core cities, if that's his idea of "whipping out an army", there's probably not much we can do.
