You have a high opinion of voters' ability to pay attention in a country that gave Donald Trump 63 million votes. What % of this forum can name their City Council member or equivalent, and we're probably more likely than average?

And there's room for disagreement within a party. AOC and Nancy Pelosi are frequently not on the same page.

Sadly my opinion is that the average American voter is rather stupid and thats just the average. Ive noticed it on Facebook, and while walking around town. People will wholeheartedly side with the Democrats or the Republicans without a single care who is their presidential candidate so long as its not "that other guy" very VERY few people are willing to actually look into specifics and would rather generalize. Im occasionally guilty of it myself, but i like to take pride in having my own opinions because i watch so very few ad's/ect for either side.

Out of most of my friends/people in my town im dead center. Im not into the whole anti-gun guy girl with a dick going into the girls bathroom overwhelmingly social justice warrior thing that the democrats got going on ( all these are generalizations ) and im not a religious everyone is a commie trump is our savior pro-"life" Obama was the worst thing since CATS republican.

I am quite the Anti-mega rich person though and i do follow more of a "morality shouldnt be more important that progress" to an extent... so that probably makes me a radical centralist? idk.. its late and im ranting at this point

This town hall is even better than the debate. Trump is absolutely self-destructing when facing a moderator calling out his bs.

lol

And this is the actual story that worried Trump:

Quote:SAN FRANCISCO, CA—In a last-ditch effort to stop negative stories about Joe Biden and his family from spreading, Twitter shut down its entire social network Thursday.

After seeing account after account tweet out one particularly bad story, CEO Jack Dorsey realized he had to take action. Dorsey smashed a glass box in his office reading "Break In Case Of Bad Publicity For Democrats." Inside the case was a sledgehammer for smashing Twitter's servers.
"Red alert -- shut the servers down! Shut them all down!"
Dorsey ran downstairs and started smashing as many computers as he could, but he did need to ask for some help, as the hammer was pretty heavy. None of the programmers could lift the hammer, either. Eventually, they managed to program a robot to pick up the sledgehammer and smash the servers.
After hearing the Twitter employees talk about critical theory, the robot got woke and began attacking all the cis white males.

Huge difference between the first and the second debate. Biden must be drugged out of his mind to be this powerful.

All of them are. From what I understand the last US President not on a drug cocktail basically all the time was Carter.

I have it on good authority [1] that Carter reanimated the corpse of George Washington Carver and had Zombie Carver working in a secret bunker under his farm to extract wormspice from peanuts and that melange was the key to his wildly successful presidency...

You have a politics forum or thread on a site like this, because what happens if you don't is that the echo-chamber sneaks in anyway.  Like this in the Werewolf thread; it's tongue-in-cheek and role-playing, but his opinion is clearly there.  What happens if you can't discuss politics is that subtly only the "proper" opinions get slipped in to be allowed and reinforced, with "no politics" used as a hammer to terminate wrongthink and dissent.

My own goal is to reduce hostility, by showing that there are rational and reasonable positions to support the current President of the United States and his administration.  The left is so hasty to throw every such supporter under the "racist" and "xenophobic" bus that they blind themselves to any possible rational discussion.  I'm here to work on Trump Derangement Syndrome deprogramming.

The first paragraph makes it sound like this thread exists to allow for an open discussion, but the second paragraph makes it sound like this thread is your personal mission to educate the rest of the forum. The first is definitely a noble goal, but the second... seems incredibly misguided. Who on this forum has Trump Derangement Syndrome? Do you think they are mentally ill? Do you think you can 'deprogram' them?
