That will definitely be the 'courts say "stop"' scenario .

The real problem starts, when both things don't happen.

Excepting the Electoral College a 5 vote margin would likely trigger a jurisdiction's recount procedures. Given our propensity to file lawsuits there might a few of those as well. However, once the dust clears if the margin is still 5 votes then they with the most votes wins.
In the Electoral College, the one with the 5 vote margin in favor wins (but*). By the time the Electoral College votes all state votes are finalized so there isn't much in the way of disputes to resolve. The "but*" is if the 5 vote margin is due to "unfaithful electors". If the margin is due solely to unfaithful electors then it's a whole different ballgame. However, that's also highly unlikely. Regardless, there will be the usual hemming and hawing about the Electoral College but nothing will be done about it (as Cyneheard explained above).

In Georgia both of the senate seats are up for election - one as part of the usual election cycle and one because the senator (Johnny Isakson) resigned at the end of 2019. The race for each seat is a separate election and a candidate for one seat's race can't run for the other seat. If no candidate receives a majority of votes case then the top two vote getters have a runoff election on January 5th.
In the "normal" seat election it's mainly Purdue vs Ossoff with a libertarian candidate running. This should be a straightforward race as one of these two should pull in at least 50% of the vote (as of right now that looks like Purdue).
It's the special election race that's screwy. Unlike a normal race where there's a primary election to narrow it down to one candidate from each party, a special election in Georgia puts everyone on the ballot all at once. That means that there are eight democrats, five republicans and 7-8 other party candidates declared as running (per Wikipedia article here). Two of the republicans (Doug Collins and Kelly Loeffler) and one of the democrats (Raphael Warnock) have been the main vote getters but none of them are close to having 50% of the vote. As of this post it looks to be Warnock/Loeffler/Collins 32%/27%/20%. If this holds then Warnock and Loeffler would be in a runoff on January 5th and the winner of that election immediately joins the senate once the results are certified.

27% of ballots in south florida were not delivered by the USPS. As usual, the results of the US election are illegitimate by any international standards. If this were in Iraq, we'd have bombed a few innocent civilians for their "undemocratic standards" by now.
"polls are off" more like voter suppression was 5% of the vote. Republicans can't win fair elections.

Can they even win an unfair election? Looks like Biden is leading in NV+WI+MI and by my count that'd total to 270 electoral votes. That's a win until someone goes unfaithful in electoral college for a bag of money.
Trump's playbook was what I expected. Claim victory on election day, then try to stop the counting of votes. Some of those mail-in ballots were massively in Biden's favor, like almost 90% in some batches.
