Wow. I mean ya this is just case in point of people want to be comfy in their own heads. I highly recommend to everyone to find a reasonable talk radio / podcast from the other side and actually listen to it once in a while. Problem being finding one that isn't crazy.

Numerous Republicans continue to repudiate Trump's efforts to subvert the election. I actually want the Supreme Court to have a role in the outcome, because I trust them to do the right thing, and it will take the wind out of the sails of those that believe Trump.

In what universe is Fox News left leaning?

Isn't one of the perks of a divorce not to have to discuss politics with crazy in-laws and longer ?

How can you read 99%+ of peer-reviewed, scientific journals that argue to the contrary and think: 'we'll be fine, that'll sort itself out,' or even worse, 'climate change isn't happening.' Seriously, how is that possible? I would really like to hear your stance on climate, T-Hawk.
Ideologically, I really literally don't care. I worry about climate problems the same way I worry about asteroid impacts or the sun expanding into a red giant. The time horizon is beyond anything that matters to me. 1 degree in 100 years or whatever the estimates are will change my life exactly zero.
Practically, anything the US or West does to restrict ourselves isn't going to mean anything compared to China completely ignoring it and is only going to drag us down.
Also practically, I don't trust governments to address anything like this rationally at all. Regulations get enacted by what looks trendy and virtue-signally and sound-bitey for CNN, not by what will actually do or mean anything. The pandemic overreaction hysteria already showed how eager governments are to impose absolute idiocy in the name of perceived problems.

You know, that's actually pretty clever. Make separate spoiler threads for different political affiliations and voila, no more rancorous arguments!

Perks of divorce? Other than having 50% less things to organize?
