Cairo messaged me via discord to concede, TBW is out of the game and while Raskol "is" out of the game via my city razing spree, he does have a large enough stack to threaten me.

Scorched earth policy till i can easily slam into one of them (Raskol first) with a ton of cannons +anything was the plan. Slowing Cairo's stack down with a GA bomb + decent rifle garrisons

Whats left of Raskol's land. Not recoverable. His only saving grace was a large cavalry/cuir stack from when he took out TBW. Could he have inflicted massive damage to me with it? Yep. But he was not going to win from this position.

Cairo-land. He had a rather large navy that rivaled mine not including his galley/caravel fleet. Having to split my navy between the two of them was a logistical nightmare with these krillmod ocean penalties. Cairo with his Musketeers was far less likely to be unable to defend if i sent a decent force of commandos at him at any point from here to the end. That and his territory would have opened up till after i got past his main stack/roman cities anyway. Was quite afraid of him slamming his stack into mine during the siege of the Roman capital.

The MVP city of the empire. Was one GG from having commando everything. Commando tanks.... one can dream

Bought myself a French Silk pie to celebrate. Also, want to say a HUGE thanks to Old Harry for getting me into a position where i could practically auto-pilot my way to a victory. The early turn micro for this game ALONE is more than i plan on doing for the next 10+ games combined.
Wait, what? You're going to need to do at least 40 hours of simming for pb57. Didn't you check the dedlurker contract?
I had a fun time, thanks for having me along for the ride!

Well done SD! Not easy there in the end; I genuinely wondered if you'd managed to torpedo your chances by arranging for a diplo game, with the greater likelihood of a dogpile ...
But yeah, while it doesn't win games on it's own, you kind of need that early game micro in order to get larger, better and - probably most importantly? - earlier armies into the field.
It may have looked easy, but that is because it was done correctly - Brian Moore

To clarify. That's 40 hours per day.
if i put in 40hrs of simming in a year, shoot me.
I was very worried about the dogpile potential. Railroads would have given me the movement and unit i would need to prevent myself from being overrun till i could get to tanks if it came to it.
