Hey guys, we have an issue as Joshybravo has disappeared and hasn't been in contact for over a week. Vanrober was dedlurking him and I asked him to make the civ/leader pick, but he didn't sign up to play by himself. Can anyone get in contact with Josh? And barring that can we find another player to step up and play with Van? I've asked him to post here as well. I can't change the map from 25 to 24 players so we either need to a) get josh back, b) find another player, c) have van play very casually.

From his past behaviour it's also totally possible that he shows up on March 1 or a few days before. What do we do in that case? (if no replacement player is found, that is. If there is one it's their civ.)
If we get a replacement player, they should also be allowed to make a new pick out of the main cycle imo, if they don't like vanrober's.
Yeah i am afraid too of Josh coming back in a few weeks thinking this was starting on march and thinking he had nothing to to till then...
But we have sent him seveal PM, even i tried on discord, also emails... no answer on any. I will be lacking time for 3 months, so in case we dont find any substitute this first 3 months ill be playing casually in my free times, so there is no worry about this game, its going to be played anyway. Just i would like someone to help me out or playing instead of me, either way is fine.
I don't enjoy being mean, but we've seen this before. New guy gets excited after reading, signs up, gets overwhelmed, flakes. Coming back and not flaking again...has it ever happened in the forum's long history of games? You gotta play these things daily. I don't regard signing up via Google Doc a very auspicious sign.
