Caster of Magic Release thread : latest version 6.06!

I noticed that units with a breath attack can't attack units within a flying fortress. However once they get out of the flying fortress area during combat, they can be hit with breath attacks again. Is this intentional?

Well in that case it should be made clearer in the readme and in game, because it felt like a bad bug to me. This is what the description on your website states:


Quote:City tiles during combat in enchanted city can't be entered by nonflying enemy units. All owned units in combat gain Flying. The city is unaffected by Earthquake.

You can't enter the tile. That pretty much implies you cannot use melee attacks against it either.
It's the same as having city walls, you can't attack into it from the outside, unless you have the ability to enter the tile. In case of City Walls, that means the unit has to be Non-Corporeal or Wall Crusher, but in case of Flying Fortress, it means the unit has to be Flying or Teleporting.

It still feels like a bug to not have that mentioned. Especially since I can attack flying units with breath otherwise.

No, you can't attack flying units behind a wall with units that have breath even otherwise. You also can't attack a flying unit with a fire breathing boat if the flying unit is on a floating island tile.
Anyway, if there will be another update (currently the bug list is empty and CoM 2 is coming soon) I might update the text.

Orcs are supposed to have -1 gold maintenance?   It seems to be -2.

Magicians maintainence is 1. 
Halbrediers is 0.

I think it was a different amount on each unit, it's usually 1 less but on some it's more.
I'm 99% sure it was intentional.

I had a save hangup in 6.07. Freya, Nature + Chaos, Warlord, Runemaster.

Rock type projectile not get buffed by flame blade anymore in 6.07, is this intentional?
