[spoilers] Commodore is absolutely confident this will end well.

Sweet, let's enjoy that spicy location. City tile gets an extra commerce too, so despite Emperor I think we might actually gain commerce on the net thanks to Pro trade routes.

Aaaand...it is indeed a net commerce gain. Don't get used to that, gonna be expensive. Puckwudgie is growing while we work on the next settler. Missing Pottery for granaries, but I think Horse and pastures are going to matter more.

Puckwudgies are American "little people" cryptids most commonly seen in New England. Various tribes have different opinions on Sasquatch, some calling them evil bride-stealers, some calling them guardians of the forests. There are no disagreements about the little people; the Puckwudgie is universally reviled and native folklore says to leave immediately if you spot one.

Speaking of threats universally to be avoided...last neighbor found. Crap. At least he might think we're to his south?

So this continent is Commodore, TBS, Vanrobber, Superdeath, Tarkeel. Not insanely stacked, but I'm sure the game hinges on how the us/TBS conflict resolves. No pressure.

Speaking of pressure...no third city name yet. C'mon Lew, willing to admit to a cryptid belief? Or is it going to be Chupacabra because all these goats suck.  alright

I'm partial to a good Wendigo sighting.

Oh look, my chief rival and huge game threat TBS managed to land riverside copper for an immediate hook up. Swell.

On the plus side, the combination of Fishing start, Protective, Organized, and Spice city means that we are indeed turning a profit from Puckwudgie, and that really matters in this Emperor world.

I hope for good horse access, but Wendigo is definitely going for south copper.

Hrm, good question. He's somewhat less aggressive generally, and surprisable by a reporter. On the other hand, reporting impressive defensive forces will deter Mackoti and I think TBS actually the better micromanager/empire developer. Either one is scary enough as-is, but coupled with the shambolic performance that is Joshybravo to the south I think it's going to be easy to find myself in a situation where TBS has twice the cities I do around the era of knights slightly later horse archers. Which in turn makes me think I need to either push hard for IW beeline->duel TBS, or IW beeline->eat Tarkeel fast. Not sure how viable those look, but might even consider IW before Writing and thus culture access.

So this was an interesting turn. Firstly, new barb warrior. Secondly, uh, that's a close city Teebs. Thirdly, I don't have a third but the others seem interesting still.

Horses are near sheep, so that's good but I still think we go for copper first.

Someone got Stonehenge, not a neighbor. noidea

SEND UP THE DTAY SIGNAL

Need to figure out the dotmap to the east here. Those horses, of course, need to be ours post-haste (instant hookup thanks to river, too). Other considerations are culture (we might not pop borders for another two thousand years), navy (need a good port for inner sea building), and borders (want to get Tarkeel not too far into "our" blob).

Looks like the Buddhism pop was indeed Superdeath, as his capital is merely size three but a top city. So...maybe free spread will allow us some culture that way?
