Some interesting developement. I saw that Miguelito and some other players that I tried to make a deal with have finished their turn, so I was curious if they had accepted. First of all Tarkeel graciously gifted me a coal. Thanks buddy. But that's not the reason I post now. I send Miguelito the following deal:

His dye for me stopping trading with Frozen.

As for the deals I had with Frozen they were some gpt for metal resouces and a gifted hit single resource.
My thinking behind that deal was, that I knew Miguelito wanted those metal resources to trade with me some turns ago, so maybe he would take this offer to start trading with me again, which in turn would free up that coal for me. Here though it gets strange. Miguelito clearly accepted the deal as seen by the gifted dye deal outside of that screenshot and the lost open border with Frozen (Victoria). But as you can see all those resource deals are still in tact. I would have thought those would be canceled to, but apparently the only way to cancel those is via a war declaration like Superdeath did all those turns ago.
At least that solves the mystery of via Superdeath chose to declare war back then. I also tested if this happens in singleplayer to and it does. Looks to be a normal behaviour then.

Question for my lovely lurkers. As you may know the HQ of Creative Construction is still up for grabs. I intend to take it when I get Combustion in T221. Now I can't possibly know if somebody else tries to get it at the same time. How do we handle this situation. You don't have to discuss it here, but do inform me before T221 rolls. If I hear nothing from you I assume I can just settle the HQ by playing as fast as possible.

civac declared war on Mjmd this turn so naturally I went in to see were civac is on that Mjmd-astro island, but apparently he's nowhere to be seen. Since this city is only defended with a longbow I figured I put together a small expeditionary force and try to capture that city. That's a dye for me and an additional iron in case I do get Creative Construction in 2 turns.

Speaking of that HQ with it I may start to earn money on 100% science. As you can see my maintenance dropped by a lot thanks to Wallstreet. I even managed to drop it some more by running merchants in the Wallstreet city, Crysta.

In international news Amicalola asked me to stop trading with piccadilly. This won't be of any use right now as we learned before the only deal that will be cancelled is the open border deal, which is the one deal I'm most interested in, so this is a no for now. Since I curious I looked what others were trading. Miguelito and Amicalola are trading a lot and it looks like they are working together against any leading player most likely Piccadilly. I also that that Miguelito is gifting a lot of gpt towards civac. Now that is curious. Is that a bribe for non-aggression?





The war between Tarkeel vs Donovan and Superdeath is still raging. I was a bit afraid that I could loose the important silk deal with Tarkeel so I swapped maps with him. Well the trade should be still fairly safe and it looks like we will soon be only 12 players with Superdeath now down to 4. I will also loose the happiness from whales with Combustion but for now this is no problem as I only have 1 city at the happiness limit and this one only because I drafted a bit too much.

Another small question for the lurkers. I will most likely switch into Free Religion after Scientific Method. This will eliminate all the bonus gold from religious buildings via Spiral Minaret, because I longer have a state religion. What I'm wondering now is: What will happen with the religious buildings of other players? Will they loose the gold too, because I no longer follow Hinduism?

Only AP gives other players bonuses and it is tied to whatever your state religion was when it was built. Minaret and Sankore are tied to whatever your current religion is, and do not give other players bonuses.

I got the Creative Construction HQ. Now I ask you fellow players to make me filthy rich by spreading this corp like crazy. Hey, and just for the fun of it I used the Great Prophet I had to build me another shrine (24gpt) for Islam. Bulbing something at this stage would have probably been the wiser choice, but were is the fun in that. Also also with Free Religion I may spread Islam some more. I'm now only paying 37 maintenance.  

Since I have the corp I also send Miguelito a stone and marble for copper deal and I plan to make some more deals next turn when I also can cancel some metal deals with Frozen.

My expeditiary force is ready to attack next turn. Due to the turn roll during my night I slipped behind Mjmd. That wasn't planned but I take it.
