Arcanna's Deathwand was my favorite when I was a kid. It dropped from one of the huge 1.0 maggot swarms in canyon of the magi, had +1 to all the sorcie skills, and a pretty green color (it was my second favorite color).

Once upon a time ma father also brought home a character on a floppy disk with waypoints up until outer cloister in normal, and the full Arcanna set. However once I save and exited, everything reverted to how it was. That's when I learned what "read only" meant.

My fav has always been the the Infernal Cranium or the Biggin's Bonnet but I haven't seen those for many resets. Just love the special graphic for them and how cute they are/

Ooh, these are awesome, thanks for posting. Originally I discounted the graphics update as who cares, but they've done an amazing job and I love how they've preserved the original feel of everything even where the looks have changed susbstantially. And shako still gets you 0 points for fashion

Can you please do one with the Sigon on the sorc? Maybe with Bonesnap instead of the shield if you have it? And one with the Crown of Ages on her? (my favourite helmet)

I like how they have grown old... like us. Sorcie is no longer the young perky thing with raven-black hair, but the face has hardened with the battles and years and the grey has started to creep in.

It's is quite amazing what they have done to upgrade the GFX. I spend much time sightseeing in closeup mode. Doing combat and seeing the scene reflected in a blood pool really impresses me.

Sigon with Bonesnap, and full Sigon with Crescent Moon for a wolf pack and minus enemy light res.
So yes, the armours are somewhat different between classes.

I think the best way to get these is actually gambling. Infernal Cranium is unique qlvl 7 and Vidala's Ambush is unique qlvl 19, so a character at levels 12 or 24 can get them on every gamble attempt. Particularly for Vidala's, gambling is the fastest way to see a lot of that base item type at an ilvl that can spawn the desired set/unique version.
