Did my knight prevent a landing here?  lol No, I doubt it. Rather I think Lazteuq abandoned the city expecting a landing from Amicalola. I moved 2 movers into GKCland in case Miguelito does not declare war on Amicalola again. In that case Lazteuq's cannons and my 2 movers have to get to work.

Other then that there was no fighting. But I have set my eyes on the islands north of GKCland. They serve as a good airport for Amicalola and getting rid of them might be possible. We'll see what the next turns bring. I also started bomb shelters in most of my cities. With Manhatten Project done by Miguelito I fear for the worst. Maybe if Amicalola goes nuclear I might even sue for peace just to avoid the blast for the next 10 turns. Thinking about that some more it might also help Miguelito as I won't sign open borders with Amicalola. That way no ships of his can pass our continent in an attack on Miguelito. Miguelito would only need to be concerned about his cities in former Ramkland.

I also turned up science again. Most units are upgraded and if Piccadilly fails to win I have to get better units ASAP as Amicalola also turned up tech again.

No picture this time because I'm stupid.
Lazteuq retreated from (almost) all coastal cities and collected his units inland. Is he trying to lure Amicalola in for a first strike? Sounds very risky to me. I moved my 2 movers back to his homeland.
Back home I started and finished the first bomb shelters. Hopefully they are somewhat of help. Small question to the lurkers. What exactly is defended via the shelter? Units, improvments, population or all of it?

I honestly don't get what Lazteuq is trying to achieve by scattering his units all around. He just lost a coastal city to Amicalola, which he razed. If I were Amicalola I would just raze all the other coastal cities of Lazteuq right now. They are easily replaced for Amicalola later. But to my suprise Amicalola hasn't done that (yet).

Back on the other side the first nukes are flying, but it looks very bad for Piccadilly I think. Down to 6 cities with less power then me and I think he still has to go for a few turns to win. Luckily Miguelito started working on his space ship. I send Miguelito diplo messages verifying that I will stay on his side.

I also noticed that Sardis one of the GKC islands only contains an MG and 4 bombers. I moved a transport in that direction. Hopefully the garrison stays that way and I can kill those bombers together with the city easily.

Miguelito signaled to me that he will attack/or do something else in T247. That's great. I also moved what I can spare into position. Biggest problem is still the lack of transports as my main concern the last turns was the defense of the continent and providing vital air cover in Lazteuq territory. I think I'm the sole provider of air to air defense in Lazteuq's cities.

More importantly, as you can see above, I recaptured one of Lazteuq's cities. Amicalola captured more and more coastal cities, which is annoying when your ally doesn't defend them. I sacrifced a few old courasiers for this. Main reason was that I want to remove any bidgehead of Amicalola's as soon as possible.

The cultural victory is on its way and I'm more or less leading in that victory category. Now I only need to survive 100+ more turns. I think my chances for a win in this PB are pretty good. crown

It's really a shame that diplomatic victory is off the table smile

Honestly I was thinking about building the UN and go for the diplomatic victory option. Winning that way would be awesome and hilarious at the same time.

hehe, cherry topping on that cake of a game.

Reminds me of one of Sullas AI-matchups I saw two weeks ago. Just slightly different when the top player was leading in every category and then built the UN just to lose the voting :D

Well, well, well. What a game. First to answer one of my own questions. As you can see other players are informed about failed space victories. Miguelito declared war on Amicalola and managed to capture Sardis before me. There where no other easy captures around so I just reinforced Sardis for him. With Miguelito on the offense, Lazteuq and me are rather safe now. I moved my ships along with Miguelito's in hopes of contributing something to his war effort. For the same reason I moved more fighters to the front. My land army mostly moved back into my territory to reduce the maintenance. I don't fear any landing from Amicalola right now.

This turn we also discovered why our war with Amicalola was so quiet in the last turns, he declared war on Mr. Cairo and will surely swallow him whole in the next turns. His conquering spree is just crazy. I feel a bit lost at what to do next. I was thinking about taking the last Mjmd city in the middle of our continent to releave the culture pressure on all of us and Mjmd from the game. Should be doable right now.

Miguelito will now most likely be decided between a space victory by Miguelito and a domination victory by Amicalola. Biggest danger for Miguelito is probably civac. I send Miguelito the deal above to clarify that I'm fully supporting his space victory as he now owns the Standard Ethanol which was spread to a lot of the former Piccadilly cities. That should be the best way to survival now. But even if Amicalola wins by domination I think I can survive this PB. Amicalola has some easy targets right now on his and the Piccadilly continent and unlike me and Lazteuq they don't have the support of the super power Miguelito.
Speaking of Lazteuq there is the option of conquering some more from him, but I no longer see a reason for that. He's already weakened enough militarily and economically. Miguelito also won't give him cities back. I think attacking Lazteuq will just weaken Miguelito's eastern flank in the long run. Now should he try to backstab Miguelito then I don't see no reason to prevent that. devil

My fighters found some unprotected transporters. I had 3 destroyers in range. I'm sure that attack was a suicide mission for the destroyers, but as the log shows it was worth it as there were units on the transports among them a great general. Awesome.  jive

Meanwhile my other destroyers are in front of Lazteuq's capitol securing the empty waters there.

Meanwhile Amicalola's attack had quiet an impact on Mr. Cairo. Good things that I now know that no matter how much military I have, it won't stand a chance. So that is a good thing? contemplate Maybe I have to go for SDI.

Oh my god. That's absolutely terrifying how fast Amicalola conquered Mr. Cairo
