I also like Glass than France, as for third I was between Greece, Mint, and Pound as in the British money, but am fine with Greece if you want to go with that.
I am more convinced now that Capital and Washington are correct (I'd guess them in that order), I believe that combo is referencing a hockey team.
Pound also still makes sense to me, though with Capital, Washington, and the words we already guessed that'd be too many potential goalie words (which surely must closely overlap with Hockey), so perhaps only Capital is correct?
Interesting. Is Hockey clueing 3 new words, or is it a course correction for Goalie?
I'm thinking of this comment I made earlier:

Well, we now have another sports word. And while you can make a (creative) link between NINJA and Goalie, you can't do the same for Hockey. Maybe NINJA is red? Or black?
The strongest links to hockey are Bob's WASHINGTON CAPITALs and POUND, since it's a sport particularly prone to fighting. (NEW YORK and INDIA may have hockey teams, too, but it doesn't make sense to clue Hockey when pairing them with WASHINGTON/CAPITAL.) If we get that far, then we can think about a +1, but we should probably avoid NINJA.
After spoilers: Bob and I are on the same page, I think.
I think you are both right that NINJA is probably out, as the clue points us away from it. I like POUND as well, although I'm not super convinced that it's a GOALIE word (maybe they get in fights more than I think?). So that leaves those three words with POUND as the non-goalie, which I'm happy with. I'll try and do this in the consensus order:
Point to CAPITAL Point to WASHINGTON Point to POUND
