Wasn't the Pennsylvania legislature Republican? Anyway I have no illusions if the demographics of likely absentee ballots were Republican the Democrats would have opposed expansion. They do both suck. At the end of the day, if I have to come down on a side it's the one that is trying to ensure as many people as possible can vote.

Yes, the PA legislature was Republican majority at the time Act 77 was passed but it had wide support from both parties.

No, I didn't do anything to Bob. I'm against cancel culture way more than I'm against him personally...

So the Supreme court is going to potentially overturn Roe V Wade? Why do i live here.

It IS a pretty bad decision, as noted by none other than Ruth Bader Ginsberg. I support legalized abortion and I would have voted to overturn, as well.
Abortion would have ceased to be a live issue in the states decades ago if we'd been left to hash it out ourselves, as the rest of the world did.

The issue is, banning abortions just creates unsafe abortions..

I am pro life as stated, but banning abortions is just stupid to the extreme for the obvious reason of you can't actually take away the choice. It just creates what my wife's family called "cornfield babies". Unsafe and bad for mother and baby. Luckily in my wife's families 2 cases 'we know of' the brothers ended up going out and finding them, but ya not safe. And obviously in the cases were it happened otherwise you probably don't even hear those stories later on. Its the kind of thing that just gets covered up.

If you wouldn't personally get (or ethically support) an abortion, but do not support banning it because you think women should have the choice, you are not 'pro-life' (in the technical sense) - you are pro-choice. Which, to be clear, I say as a compliment. But people who are pro-choice do not think abortions are something to celebrate, or desire one; they think it is a sometimes-necessary hardship that women should have the option to undertake. 'Anti-choice' would be a far better descriptor for the supposed 'pro-life' movement.
