I would like to see both. I specifically think army spending should go down. Navy and Airforce are areas you really need consistent long term investments and are also areas most likely to be called on for 'posturing'. We don't need a massive tank force..... Again, there are advantages to keeping those production capabilities, but lets cut cut cut back. Give half our tank force to Ukraine just so we don't have to pay the maintenance.....
Edit: I would like to see ancient navy and airforce systems cut back so newer ones can be prioritized.

Immigrant, Mexican, and criminal are all not races.
If you are going to call Trump a racist, find one actual example involving race and not your own invention of putting that where it isn't.

Even Politifact which is usually biased as all hell has it right there in the transcript.

Ya I don't think this racist argument is going anywhere when you can't admit he specifically targeted non white immigrants; that is racism, it doesn't have to be a specific race if its all that aren't white. Lets get back to the important you've admitted he tried to overthrow the government point.
Out of curiosity who of Buchanon or Andrew Johnson do you think is currently the worst US president?
Buchanan is currently rated as most as the worst and you know had a civil war break out on his watch. You can certainly say he didn't do enough once he knew it was coming. He did though try to negotiate compromises (even if many view those as pointless and foolish). He didn't actively try to undermine and did a tiny bit to prepare. He could have done FAR worse. You talk about someone who was in position to totally screw America and he had the chance and he didn't.
Andrew Johnson on the other hand actively worked against some of the more important parts of reconstruction and allowed a lot of confederate leaders to reestablish power. Effects of both we we are still feeling to this day. Was he actively working against the United States and the war it had just fought? He as definitely not the right person for this moment in history. He was VERY biased. He caused long term damage to our democracy, but was it intentional?
In my estimation you have to actively work against US principles so while most historians put Buchanan as the worst, I think I actually would put Johnson as worst.

What about Woodrow Wilson? He should also be in that top 3 worst presidents.

kinda curious as to why? I would at most put him in the bottom 10, but somewhere between 6-10.

What are the Chinese going to do, start a nuclear war because US isn't manufacturing as many guns as before?

Ya I need an explanation for Harding as well.
Wilson was a blatant racist, segregated the federal government causing tons of damage; worse than Johnson? No. Johnson was also working against the war that had just happened and allowed traitors to regain power. Violation of rights during war, not unprecedented. Messing up the peace process; plenty of blame to go around. Joining the war late, as someone from the "traitor state" most of the US didn't want to enter the war for a long time. Should we have entered earlier; probably, but he literally got reelected on keeping us out, so can't blame him for that too much.

Invade Taiwan and dominate AT LEAST the Asian sphere of influence. They have soft power already and that has had a lot of negative effects (countries siding with them / not willing to speak up against). Letting them just have both hard and soft power is not a good recipe.

@Jowy, there are options between “nothing” and “nuclear war”. They aren’t jacking their own spending up for the heck of it.
@superdeath, because I hate corruption and he was the most corrupt President in history.
