Do Republicans just miss the irony of yelling about cancel culture for years and then cheering when Republicans use the power of the government to silence and punish those who oppose them?

For those who might jump in I will again point out the difference between a COMPANY choosing to do something and a party using the GOVERNMENT to do something.

What happened this time?
"Superdeath seems to have acquired a rep for aggression somehow. I think Mjmd is talking about DeSantis vs disney

Was I though?

Was it voter suppression?
Could it have been threatening those in your own party to cooperate and endorse you?
Was it firing state employees with different views?
Was it censuring political opposition?
Is it calling any news that you don't like "fake" and creating an alternate 'reality' of facts you then try using to change laws?
Could it have been book bannings?
Banning what can be taught in a vaguely worded laws?
Was it banning different forms of expression?
Was it Desantis vs Disney?

Again, who knows which one I meant.

And I think Jester was saying democrats were suppressing free speech, which again, I'll point out the difference between companies choosing type of content on their platform (IE allow vs not allow hate speech ect) vs the government suppressing (see examples above).
