IO Interactive just pushed the latest Hitman release, turning into "World of Assassination" and the new freelancer mode. It's pretty hard and unforgiving, but that was to be expected, but so far it's more fun than frustration.

I picked up Dicey Dungeons in the current Steam sale after reading Sullla's write up, and it is a lot of fun. Nothing too complicated, but there are enough options to make it interesting. And there are some unexpected interactions -- my thief used his class ability to steal a bear potion from an alchemist and turned into a bear. I was thinking that was amusing...until I realized it was permanent. eek So I played the rest of the dungeon as a bear, with bear ability and equipment cards for my deck and even a little furry die with claws as my icon. lol Reminded me of the old Nethack days and polymorphing my character into something weird.

It turns out that bears are awesome and have great cards. I finished the dungeon and beat the boss without much trouble. 10/10, would grow fur and claws again. smile

Shame on you, Realms Beyond, for not telling me about Mijah Rokee Shrine during my Naked Link challenge!

I felt like playing a normal run of Breath of the Wild between new games.  The accordion-playing Rito has a song with these lyrics:

"When the moon bleeds and the fiends are reborn
The monks will invite you as they have sworn.
But first you must stand on the pedestal bare
With nothing between you and the night air."

Found this area by chance this time, and I missed it during the two playthroughs I wrote for this forum.  Yes, I won the Modest Test of Strength inside the shrine while Link was still in his shorts.  It felt appropriate.

I picked up Dredge during the summer sale, and have been enjoying it. It's not a revolutionary game, more of a chill adventure with just the right amount of tension to be interesting while exploring and relaxing with your rod.

I put like 125 hours into Brotato. I am sure most people are familiar with it, but for $5, it is hard to beat. Great combo of bullet hell gameplay with a legitimately complex strategic layer. Highly recommend.

Just started Elden Ring as well. It's very good, although I might prefer the focused nature of Dark Souls.

I'm 124 hours into Baldur's Gate 3 and I feel like there's at least another 100-200 hours more time I want to put into it before taking a break. It's not perfect but that doesn't mean it isn't incredible.

I found Larian's last Divinity game to be tedious despite the great reviews and quit like 10 hours in, but I have heard very good things about BG3.

BG3 has been a lot of fun, I've been playing solo and we've just started a co-op campaign with me, Amicalola, Kaiser, and Jowy, to reprise our DivinityOS2 run, and it seems likely that it'll take us even longer than last time smile

It will, BG3 seems to be huge. I will definetely not loot everything this time :D

Naked Link in Tears of the Kingdom is worth trying just to see all the jokes, such as this line from Impa:  "Anyway, I heard you had gone missing.  I am relieved to see you made it back-even if your clothes evidently did not".  I'm not playing this way for the whole game, in case there are some areas where Link has to wear something, but it's nice to know the developers put in that much effort for something not many players would try.
