So it seems like you are distracting from other countries atrocities by focusing on PAST US ones. At least focus on current US atrocities. 

About free US and Canada. Our indigenous communities can practice their cultures, participate in government, and if they problems take their case to court and / or the public. We should do better, but don't you dare red herring away from others such as Tiabet and Uyghurs by comparing them.

Hmmm I think I'm going to be blunt here : Charr Babies you're a relatively new poster on this forum (in term of actual activity here) and at least 75% of your posts are on this thread. I'm not sure what you're doing on this forum and in theory I don't care. But you seem to be fine bullying people out of this thread, including reasonable established members like Darrell. Earlier you were basically telling people that the conversation was about what you were talking about, not what they were talking about. You don't seem to be interested in discussing calmly and reasonably with anyone.

This is a net negative for everyone. This thread was almost killed a few years ago because people were not behaving here in a way that made the forum enjoyable, but since then it has been ok to some extent. There have been harsh disagreements here and there, but it has stayed breathable enough unless bullying like yours happen.

Please post in good faith, and assume others also post in good faith. Or don't, and don't post at all in this thread. But I'd rather not see this place which has sometimes given me good insights on how people see the world in other places become a troll haven where you monologue and expect us to go along with it.

I get you. I don't usually participate in forums, more of a lurker. Is it a disqualification? And yes I realize I am usually blunt, but I really don't mean to get personal or offensive. I would like them to have better voting rights (cough voter suppression), better access to healthcare, and better access to infrastructure. But as stated they can practice their culture / religion. They can participate in government. They do have legal rights and access to public discourse. This is important for changes needed. I am sure there are more issues, but when you say "free x" you are directly comparing to situation where NONE of this can occur and is there fore FALSE. You can't compare them currently. You can historically, but the US has gotten better. Again, not perfect, but better. And that doesn't mean we shouldn't do better.

They don't have their land, but are you going to kick the current people off their land in a reverse of what was done to them? Which India tribes get what? When in history do you define "this is the timepoint we are going to mark as appropriate". You see this in the Russia Ukraine conflict with Russia claiming Ukraine is theirs, but depending what time frame you chose it could belong to a variety of peoples. Operate off of the now. Give them special rights like operating casionos or traditional economics like whale and seal hunting not given to others. My view is "our ancestors were a variety of good, bad, horrible, and oppressed". What are WE going to do? How will we be remembered.

See, this is not so easy, but not so hard. I would call this agree to disagree. What bugs me is I keep reading misinformation on other countries and pass as truth. 

I am not pushing for free canada, free us. I posted that question to hopefully get some of you to do some self reflection. Sort of like the songs says "Before you accuse me, take a look at yourself". That you can be accuse of this and that, just as you accuse this and that of other nations you know nothing about. Don't be a free tibet wherever the fuck that is guy.

I don't need your pictures. Fact checking is checking the source of your information, if they are us funded media, ngo, or the nsa cia, your lying machine. 

it is actually easy if you are looking for the truth. First, don't be bias in your search terms, that's where you will find western propaganda 

How about looking at what the Muslim majority has to say. How about watch a plain youtube travel video and see how many mosque there are and compare that to any other locations. How vibrant the community is. How about searching what Chinese Muslim population growth is. 

How about when there are opposing views in this forum, at least give them the benefit of a doubt, because they know things you don't.

Lets say this, ANY country that has "reeducation camps" should probably have any statement that government says with a LOT of salt. If you are only going to believe the side committing the atrocities you will never believe one has occurred. I would say most Americans believe the WMD evidence was faked. We didn't blindly believe our government forever..... There have been people who HAVE travelled there and HAVE taken pictures. THERE ARE first hand accounts. There ARE leaked documents.

Its like saying the Armenian genocide didn't happen because Turkey has never admitted it...... That is basically what you are saying. Utter madness.

I'm pointing it out in a US thread because YOU compared them. We can move on with a simple admission that the current situations are NO WHERE near the same.
