Doesn't this just make your blood boil and your heart ache?

The directors, producers, screen writers, the entire supporting crew and this girl should have received Oscars. It sure had the whole country spellbound.  popcorn

So much for leaked papers and eye witness account!

Ya that testimony was false. Does that mean that current testimony is false. No. That is a logical fallacy. And there is A LOT of evidence. Could it ALL be false? Across multiple countries and news organizations. Its possible. However, if you would like to buy some satellite time you could check. The things with high walls and barb wire that the Chinese government labeled "reeducation camps" might be a give away. Again, honestly any country that even admits to reeducation camps should probably just instantly be under suspicion. We know this from history.

I think what I'm trying to get at, is that if you believe ANY government despite an overwhelming amount of evidence. You may have to admit you have a bias.

AGREED.

It doesn't mean we shouldn't call out others too. Or let someone falsely try to equate current US ones with something worse.

Not to distract. But part of the strength of free speech in democracies is the ability to call out our own atrocities. To you know hopefully stop them or not repeat them. Doesn't always work, but the literally only accountability China has is how its viewed / how much it cares how its viewed by nations with free speech.

Alright, lets make it easy for you. As someone said here not long ago SCREW CHINA. China is bad, Russia is evil. Iraq deserved annihilation, NKorea shoulld be wipe off the face of the world. And the rest of the nations who are not your current us running dogs can go to hell. SCREW THEM ALL

All I hear is excuses that you are democracy, how hard that is, with all its flaws.

BUT
what are we going to do about the Natives and Iraqis?

I did not say those things.

I'll give you a free talking point. If you want to focus on a more comparable example at least use the easy one in our immigration situation, but we can also focus on why free speech is valuable. Trump separated families. There was major coverage and then push back on this. And despite hardly ever changing things based on media pushback he did. Because his party was worried about how it would look. Not saying our immigration system doesn't need more work, but when China separates families (and on a larger scale) they can just do that. The only outcry is from international communities. Not their own people. Their is no accountability from their own people. No system for change to occur. I would like to note there are a plethora of other differences, but I just focused on 1 clear example.

You've never specifically said what your issues you want to change for Native Americans. I've stated better access to voting, healthcare, and infrastructure among others. But again, I'm not the only comparing to actual concentration camps. Please stop doing ad nauseum. You are trying to equate these two things and all I've heard is "problems exist" and "I refuse to believe a mountain of evidence". If you want to argue they are equal somehow, make that argument. I would like to note I have never denied American atrocities or evidence there of or current problems. I do however refuse to let you equate those things to much worse ones. However, you are trying to equate an issue you deny all evidence of. This makes the argument hard to do.

Again. I am not interested in what China do. I will just take it you have no defense.

What are we going to do to compensate Iraq?

Why we shouldn't get out of North America?

Again. I am not interested in what China do

YOU WERE THE ONE COMPARING.

-At minimal for both Iraq and Afghanistan we should probably accept anyone that helped us as immigrants. I believe in this thread some months ago I tried to get people to write their representatives on this. I wrote and called mine. Have you?
-I covered this one already today.

Again, if you want to say "America has problems and should do x, y, and z." FINE. Don't compare them to a country committing actual genocide and high levels of oppression. You were the one who did that.

Quote:A Reuters/Ipsos poll of a hypothetical three-way race between Biden, Trump and Kennedy conducted last week among likely voters found 14% of voters supported Kennedy, with 40% supporting Trump and 38% supporting Biden.

Did the US election just turn into Trump trying to convince voters that RFK "has a disturbing background steeped in radical, liberal positions" and Biden trying to convince voters RFK really isn't a Kennedy?
