I mean Biden is having to do something because some people care. The problem is such a large % of America doesn't and is willing to give Israel a blind check / there is still a lot of muslim hate. It isn't just a left right divide either. He can loss Democrat votes either way. Again, I think this is a case where we can see a slow change in attitude due to technology and media especially among younger voters for people saying such things are all bad. It is sadly not looking like enough fast enough. Its never easy sadly.

Does any group of people deserve a genocide? Probably not. Does that conceit mean anyone should be forced to deprive themselves to any degree to prevent genocide? No. Certainly countries like Egypt, Syria, and Lebanon have made that call - they've seen what happens when you do take in Palestinian refugees, and the results are not pretty for the host country. And they've done all they can in the past to try and dislodge Israel militarily. The Palestinians themselves are and have eagerly been complicit in trying to genocide the Israelis, so it's no surprise Israel has been slowly returning the favor.

So first lets stop generalizing ALL Palestinians and ALL Israelis. I do think its fair to say that the current groups in power on both sides are fairly militaristic and don't prioritize human life.

So the best question on who is responsible in situations like this with long history of they did this the other side did that ect that I've ever heard is this. Who has the power? In this case its easy. Israel has the most power so they are most responsible. So sure there are SOME Palestinians and definitely their current leadership in West Bank Hamas that would like Israel gone. That DOES NOT MEAN Israel should commit their own genocide. Israel has the power and is doing so; they are responsible.

By that logic any country hemorrhaging refugees is filled with "truly reprehensible" people.
