Havent scouted much of Gavagai's territory thus far, but it seems he has pushed northward into the desert area, and the "GAV WORKER???" makes me think he is going to plant a city somewhere by the corn. Discovering that corn changed a bunch of my settling plans in that area. Im going to try and race a settler down to my Corn city spot, it will settle the city in 5t. Im betting Gavagai's settler(?) from the furs potential city is heading in that area. Not confirmed yet though. Overall, i think he got one of the better cities from Ricky, Tiwanaku has a bunch of pretty matured cottages. PLUS sheep/wheat/fish.
Im wanting to send a message that basically states that i will grab the corn city, but not go further, and that he can have the cow area. i DO NOT want to antagonize Gavagai anymore than the fur city probably already did. However, the fur city is not defensible imo, if he settles in range of the corn. Its bad enough that it will be a little while till i settle a filler city, and it will always be a Liiiiiiiiiiiiiitle bit out there... but it was worth it
Also someone i havent scouted much of (yet) Mjmd. Man of many wonders. Tied with Gavagai and GT for lowest amount of cities. Mjmd has a valid excuse for it, i have NO clue what Gavagai/GT are doing. Lack of locations? .. dunno.
He helped me get CoL sooner, but hasnt sent back a potential war dec vs Gavagai for the future. So, that kinda pains me. Maybe give it a couple dozen turns, when im fielding knights.
Not much else to say about him yet. Can he settle more land? Can he use his 500 wonders to get a lead? Find out next time on DragonBall PB
Dreylin. The only one i dont have a trade connection with. 13 cities, kinda looks like the same situation i was in, where immediate desert, so had to hug the coast. Had a i have to assume scouting war with Gavagai. Thats all i know atm.
Ginger. Since the last time i scouted him, idk if the map has changed much since then... but 13 cities, HG, making more than i would with my loan paid back in GPT, BUT caught between Dreylin who is probably looking to have a different outcome than the last PB he was in.. and Zulu who i believe much be top power, as ive been ahead of Gavagai this whole time and by a "decent" amount.. and ive been passed by someone. I HAVE to assume its Zulu? Who else would build barracks in every city, and judging from their 800+ reply thread they are either super micro heavy like Old harry and his gang, or something. I cant fathom having that much to talk about. Maybe his lurkers and him are just bullshitting in the thread alot? I have more speculation, but ill hold off for now.
See above. Looks like Zulu has a nice long river to work with, has their UB to help bridge their 15 cities to my 13. But stuck between GT who is probably a higher aggression rating than even i am.. and Ginger who i just remembered has Civac as a dedlurker. So, shitty situation. Best case scenario for them is probably running over GT after Boudica(?) tapers off, Split GT with Nauf or conquer it quickly, then either continue into Nauf which probably brings me into it, unless im at war with Gavagai. It will be interesting how all this will turn out.
Kinda looks like GT got squeezed on both sides, and then as far as ive seen, hasnt expanded into the desert much. Id be surprised if he didnt make at least one likely failed attempt at running someone over. His land looks good though, so if he can grab a bit more for a production base, maybe he can pull back into the leading pack? But right now id put him along with Mjmd/gavagai in terms of actually winning.
ah, Naufusten. America gives him alot of flexibility to bulb weird stuff and surprise me/others. Nauf sent me a free spice this turn, i assume for the earlier gems gift. Glad to see we are still besties. Land looks pretty plain. IF i didnt have Gavagai as a next door neighbor, id have probably pushed more into the forested hills area and kept Nauf out of more "good" land. But, if i can maintain friendly relations on this side (with some scouts to be sure) then i can focus on teching and prepping myself for a showdown with Gavagai hopefully with myself at Knights, and him without anything worth a crap. I 100% believe i can beat him to it, the question is truly how fast do i want to essentially expand instead of teching some first-to's and other fun stuff.

Rough plan:
Tech: Masonry-Metal Casting-Construction(for safety and faster movement.. lots of river)-head to Literature and build HE, check how everyone is doing.. and then probably grab music artist if its still available b4 heading down monachy-guilds line. Grabbing Engineering directly after. Thats about as far as ive thought ahead, and as always.. subject to change.
Foreign affairs: Continue to keep Nauf friendly, and keep Gavagai tamed/not willing to start a war over a couple cities. I think we both know as soon as one of us starts the war, there is only 1 outcome. Death. Now, whether Gavagai will give a shit because he was basically tied with Ricky in city count until just before he declared war when he settled some cities, and then took one off of him. Other plans are to simply try and trade for Gold if someone finds 2+ I have to assume based on where silver is, that perhaps Gold is the "precious" resource in the middle that might have like.. 3 total? Ill have to recheck the map.
Also, i plan on building at least 1 scout for each player. Gotta keep upto date on whats going on. 2-3 scouts for Nauf and Gavagai min.
Anything anyone wants to know/say/favorite food let me know
"Superdeath seems to have acquired a rep for aggression somehow. In this game that's going to help us because he's going to go to the negotiating table with twitchy eyes and slightly too wide a grin and terrify the neighbors into favorable border agreements, one-sided tech deals and staggered NAPs."
