I know its a release trailer but the graphics look... poor. They might have something interesting with that system of trading resources between cities

The national spirit looks like a mesh of Civ5's cultural choices and Humankind's? Paradox's era-specific games are already really good substitutes for Civ in a particular time period, but this doesnt look great tbh. Maybe they wanted to squeeze it out before Civ7 sucks all the oxygen?

The real headache is that the rows of hexagons run up-down instead of left-right as in every other hex board game.

I played two hours of the demo, got bored, and never returned. :/

Played a couple of the hours of the demo too. It's kind of an interesting idea, but the barbs were way too prevalent in it and too many of the mechanics look to be too opaque.

Might buy it on sale in a few years.
