Dreylin Blues 2000 is on (another) mission from Cod

Ginger took Haddock, but Minnow stands. Greenline had a semi-threatening stack W-SW of Anchovy, which has moved back west this turn. I took the peace with ginger mainly because I see my mission as surviving the longest and inflicting maximum pain on the infidel invaders, and this would let us focus on repelling Greenline. I am considering a castle in Anchovy though, for the defensive bonus.

Turn 180 (1200 AD)
Mjmd sent this diplo (and something similar last turn):

It looks like he's going to hit Plaice or Haddock through our borders, and wants us to road up to Haddock? Well, we have no workers left.

Meanwhile, Greenline's stack is healing up in Work Ethic, ao some of our knights are acting as MP in Sheepshead.

Yeeeaaah, I may have been a bit careless/carefree with my Workers at the end there; is it worth having Minnow start to build one?

We’re heading into a Lungfish problem though if he liberates them and we have to come up with defenders!

If happiness is an issue, most of the other players have been willing to share spare happy resources.

Nah, I don't see any reason for workers. I doubt Mjmd liberates the cities, but you never know. Will sniff around for some happies, but the knights are good mobile MP as well.

Ginger declared pre-emptively on Mjmd, who is threatening Haddock. That city is only defended by a single Janissary, so Mjmd might take it, but I don't see him doing much more.

It looks like you might get to live a bit longer: Ljubljana has invaded Greenline, taking a rather large border-city (GGGA stacking), and Ginger offers fish for stop trading with Mjmd. Haven't done anything with that offer just yet though.

No. MJMD an I had a decent relationship the whole game; not going to go back on that for the person who conquered 95% of me then couldn’t be bothered to finish. We’re on single cities in deals, aren’t we? Ask for Haddock back.

Will ask for Haddock next turn. Agreed on not abandoning Mjmd here.

Handover for whomever:
Anchovy is finishing a castle and growing to 6 next turn, can then 2-whip something.
Sheepshead is regrowing to 6, has just 2-whipped a LB into another LB, which probably should be repeated.
Minnow is set up to grow to 4 then 2-whip a cat; might have to swap away for a turn to keep it in 2-whip range.

Right now longbows are one the most efficient defenders we can make; maces and muskets are good for attacking out as needed but Greenline is busy being devoured by Ljubljana. Ginger is making sounds that we're not worth the effort to eradicate. It might be possible to attack into Greenline at some point, but he's still defending too much for that.

Thanks for taking the reins Tarkeel!

Did Ginger & Ljubljana make peace, or is that war still rumbling?
