That's general to MoM. I didn't make those goblin sprites, Slingers did as far as I am aware. I am prototyping some right now. Although I am going to have to at least change the colours as they are not in the correct MoM palette.

your gob hobgobs and trolls are of much higher quality than MoM units. THEY LOOKS AMAZING!

you dont have hard black outline. Also goblin and hobgoblins looks quite similar (gobs are 1 pixel smaller just).

Thank you : P Still in prototyping stage, and I have to get them working in all angles. The idea with the hobgoblins is that they are 1 pixel taller, have longer arms, and a larger back, maybe different clothing? I was messing around with a 2-pixel height difference, but it was too extreme. Either the Hobgoblins ended up too tall, or the goblins too short to animate properly (although the short goblins otherwise look fine in my opinion.)        

The heads looks a bit large compared to other units in MoM but making them shorter and more compact looking helps a bit with that. So for the most part I don't think they are too far off.

I tried to do the hard black outline but it doesn't look right with them. They shouldn't clash too hard with prexisting unit art due to a only-mostly black outline, and if they do, I will modify them until they fit.  Although the halberdier helmet not having was a mistake, wasn't paying attention lol. I gotta work on them more. I'll get them done eventually, but I have other obligations. I still have to finish some IRL paintings for people that I am working on. Also been working a bit on Adders & Pythons. Have about half of the wizard portraits animated. I may not work fast, but I do work steady.

Working a bit on the Titan prototype for Slingers. I made them smaller then your example so that they could be animated easier. Dunno if that's against what you want. I just took a fire giant and fixed its posture basically lol. So it's a bit taller now.

               

Not sure if you still wanted the greco-look either. Still needs work (especially the pose holding the tree.)

Unfortunately the images you posted are not visible to me. I am without a PC for some time. Maybe thats the reason. Or did you accidentaly post black dots? 

However, small Titans definitely sounds wrong.  popcorn

So here's the greenskin sprites from every direction so far. They looking alright? Any weirdness or glaring flaws that you want fixed, or can I start doing them up as different unit types? Also they aren't colour corrected so far. They aren't using the proper MoM palette yet.

It's a shame that the vibrant greens are the ones used for the faction colour as they are the ones I'd want to use. Although I suppose I could use a colour that's only slightly different and the game wouldn't then give them wonky coloured skin, and I'd still be using the proper MoM palette in spirit even if not in practice.

Oh, and also do you want me to do up some shorter goblin sprites so that you can see if you like 'em that way or not?

    like this? Just add some dark spots/lines into the normal settler unit unless you want it more severe. I'm still working on the goblins, so I can't really take requests right now.

Hopefully I'll get more free time irl soon as I am pretty thin on it at the moment, I've been covering extra shifts for coworkers for about half-a-year or-so at this point, it's been so long that my boss either forgot or was hoping that I forget that it's not my actual schedule and was either surprised or annoyed that I request my old schedule back lol. And I've also had to spend extra time when not at working helping to take care of family. I have a painting that I was making for a coworkers birthday sitting next to me from july that I haven't had the time to work on.

Not to mention that I am still hoping to release my own my mod at one point! I can make quick prototype sprites as that only takes like a minute or so, and maybe I can do them from other angles as well, but it might be most efficient to leave animating them to you guys.

Work on the goblin pack is slow, but I assure you it's steady. Their will be plenty of stuff for you to pick at in to suit your needs, and some other little extras that you may or may not feel like using. : )
