Problem Starting Game'- Warlord Mod

Hi @Suppanut

Have a problem in that i can't start a game. 

Steps I have taken to install your mod.
1. Updated CoM
1. Renamed the default dir to "Master of Magic Caster Windows 1.5.7"
2. Launched CoM and loaded Mod. 
See attachments.
Cant attach save game as I cannot start a game.
When i get to select a banner for me I get this error msg "
An unhandled exception occurred. Please report this bug ..........."

Please help.


For some reason my attachments don't show?

Could you show screenshot of these things for me?
1) screenshot of main menu that show version of exe.
2) screenshot of your data folder that show file size
3) show folder of properties screen of data folder that show total number of files and folder size
4) send me log.txt of game in the same folder caster.exe right after game crash, I want to see where and when game crash in detail

I have uninstall CoM. Reinstalled it and followed install instruction and got same error msg.

1st properties file is from File Explorer and the 2nd is from Total Commander. I don't know why they are different.

Reason why properties show up is different is due to you are on different folder, second one is data folder while first one is whole version 1.5.7 folder.

Oh, sorry. I forget that you need to open debug mode too for log to report what really happened during generate new game in detail.
1) go to data\modding.ini and open it with notepad
2) go to line 571, you will found "ForceDebug=0", you need to change it to "ForceDebug=1" and save to enter debug mode.
3) Start the mod version 1.5.7
4) Start new game until the point of crash. after game exit send me log.txt that you found in the same folder as your caster.exe you use to run the game.

Thank you. Crash occur early in process of opponent wizard generation either crash tie to some value of new game generation or there is bug in my wizard generation script and world is not even generated. wizard also not yet pick any spells.

1) Please specify your start new game setting? how many opponent? size of map? scoring option? race and wizard customization?
2) Could you compressed your whole "Master of Magic Caster Windows 1.5.7" and upload for me to see?

Unfortunately the packed size of Installation dir is 877.89mb so the file size to large to upload here.
Any ideas?

You could upload it to google drive, microsoft onedrive, or file sharing site like Mediafire.

You could also use wetransfer dot com. You can upload up to 2 GB for free, and you get a download link that is valid for a week.

I could emulate your crash now. what I need to do is to check what really cause crashing.

Edited: Still not know reason but know what causing crash, currently you could not set difficulty lower than advanced or else game would crash on start new game. I have already found reason and I will released fix version today.
