Logged in, took a look around.
For the economic situation:
The main advantage other players have on us is just traits. Archipelago maps limit the amount of commerce you can get from towns, so most of it will be from trade routes if at all. Two players have PRO and one has cheap cothons, another has citadels. PHI can't compete with that directly, we can only hope to use bulbs and/or golden ages/trade missions to create economic advantages. Our other trait, CRE, is only a hammer saver early, and may not be as good compared to EXP for cheap granaries considering many cities won't have any first ring forests to chop.
Yuri's city is only guarded by an axe + archer pair. Don't need trebs for that, just cats and axes / maces will do. Ideally he would vacate the city if we moved enough units nearby and made a trade offer for the city, to not signal intentions for total war.
We should aim to revolt to HR + Vassalage by the end of the GA. The extra happiness doesn't hurt and bureaucracy won't be that good for our civ.
Might be worth looking at a bulb path to Gunpowder. Not sure if it is worth settling tundra iceballs until first researching Code of Laws and building courthouses in the most expensive cities.
