Are you, in fact, a pregnant lady who lives in the apartment next door to Superdeath's parents? - Commodore

I am making the saddest of faces

You didn't even get to see how great Labrador was with the Customs House done - the worst trade route was 11c. Now they're 16c combined.

Comm moved up so I fired off my next (last) golden age and whipped everything that could be whipped. It won't be enough, he has too much production, too much of a unit advantage. If I'm lucky I can try to hold at sea, but everything in the islands needs to be on privateer builds. Once the mainland goes then I don't know how I can hold Bassett Island - either Commodore or an opportunistic Thoth will eventually take it. I might try to evacuate to there but more likely will be to the northeast.

Will try to get to Rifling & Nationalism so I can start drafting Rifles too.

I plan on retreating and whipping as I go, but I'm going to lose my core.

I asked everyone to attack Commodore but received no response. Really this game is over; I don't see anybody making a defense against the inevitable steam roll and so far I don't even see a plan being formed by my opponents on how to stop him. Probably just some hope that I will bog Comm down in a long war, but this war will not be long. It will be me retreating and Comm taking cities as I abandon them one by one.

Can you believe I am the #2 power in the game?

alright If you ever figure out the secret formula to organizing a dogpile against the frontrunner, let me know. We could retire off the patent. alright

Don't worry all those elephants, keshiks, and knights will stick the enemy in place.

Ya its a bad glue joke. Sorry its the best I got.
alright

Oh yeah, it's bad when I'm trying to decide between knights or muskets to fight off rifles and cannons.

Anyway, when do you think Comm gets his concession? T200? Sooner?

Thoth signaled about as blatantly as could be that he's about to attack me. I really want some more turns at whipping out a navy from Basset Island, so we moved our navy north to discourage him.

He also logged in immediately after Commodore left, an obvious sign they're sending messages back and forth.

I moved the bulk of my fleet to SE of Doberman and sent Thoth a Fish for Fish. If he doesn't remove his ships I will attack.

I'm trying to slow Comm's advance through my core as much as I can, but it doesn't matter how much I whip: his stacks are growing faster than mine.

The garrison at Saint Bernard launched a desperate final attack, losing all except for a single longbow and only killing a single cannon. Chihuahua was emptied, pulling back to the capital. Probably only a few more turns until I lose my research centers.

I started galleys in the east at Pug, to help with shuttling my troops to the islands when the time comes. It will be here sooner than I realize.

Thoth didn't reciperocate my fish-for-fish, but then again he didn't pull his ships back from his home fleet waters. Perhaps he's just anticipating the future border with Commodore instead?

Now I'm thinking maybe I'd "gift" Thoth the island in exchange for letting me whip the hell out of the cities there for 5-6 more turns. which is a complete 180 from what I was thinking last turn. (Can you tell I have no realistic options here?) Not that I even know how I'd convey that to him.

Need to think about this next turn.
