PB77 - Bing Bong

SD asking me yet again to attack Scooter, but I just can't do anything. I only have 105 net income (not counting some Wealth build) and some cities are at 55 turns of whipping unhappiness. I have nominal military parity with scooter but if I land longbows and catapults, it would take ages to break any of those castles, by which time I'd probably get trounced by a couple of knights or whatever else he has. Not to mention galley/trireme getting messed with by galleons.

Let Cairo with his 2x income compared to me do something, also Yuri. Or it's gg I guess.

Kind of a weird war. I was expecting scooter to want to capture cities. But I guess he can take turns razing from the competition until the game ends. Unfortunately not much we can do on this kind of map. Not a lot of good catch up wonders to build.

Hopefully Yuri doesn't want to launch another war against me, or Cairo/SD to benefit himself while Scooter grows further.

Ah well, the only thing i can do for like 50 turns is try to catch up and not get attacked, then maybe i'll be able to throw my weight around.

Just saw Scooter produce a musketman, also Yuri produced a samurai or two 5 turns ago.

For the time being, the Samurai are probably scarier than the muskets. Has Yuris made any aggressive moves towards his former city? I suspect he may want to team up with scooter to get revenge, even if this only ensures he will be stuck with second place.

Yuri's troops and transports are in the middle of his empire, also he saw some of my catapults and I left a medium-large garrison in the nearest city.

Edit: actually I just looked and realised how close his cap is to our nearest city. OK I need to prepare for a possible 2nd war. He has whipped out some samurai and has a galleon.

Scooter is attacking SD again and Yuri's galleon position suggests he'll attack me. Care to take a look Greenline? Just upgraded 9 triremes to caravels, anyway

Unfortunately civ 4 is acting up on the mod version for this game for me. He only has samurai to attack with, right? Longbows in castles should hold.
