In my defense, every time that occurred my computer was so lagged (graphically / processing) that by the time I could get the spell off, the battle had already unfolded and my computer was playing catch-up. Kayle's ultimate lasts 3 seconds at the top tier. It takes me approximately 1-2 seconds to react when the time is required. However, when it takes 5-6 seconds for my computer to catch up, it's already way too late. I died more a few times because I couldn't throw up ANY skills, and by the time I realized they had switched to me I had gone from near-full health to a grey screen - while my health bar took 5 seconds to catch up. :P
I can't make any excuses for Shen.
Myself, though... I'm mostly hampered by graphical slowdown (which stems from an outdated CPU). Until I save up the cash to build a new, high-end rig (as is my plan for Christmas) I'm stuck suffering through it. In smaller matchups, I can save people with the best of them (not that I'm the best - just better than most noobs
). However, in those extreme 5v5 battles my computer just crumples and I'm left picking up the pieces WELL after the battle is over.
Full disclosure, and all that. Up to you if you want to continue to game with me.
No hard feelings if you prefer the company of more elite (and better-equipped) players. I do my best with what I have, and strive to always learn from each battle and game.
BTW - Even though we lost, that was a reasonably fun game. It's a little disheartening at times to always be on the low end of the spectrum (by the time the game is over I'm usually just hitting halfway through my item build - atrocious! :P). However, it is fun to enjoy the company of other skillful players - even if they spend half the time complaining.
I look forward to many more games with you, Speaker - if you'll have me.
Maybe next time I'll go back to Akali - easier to be a chaser, especially post-battle. Although I'm enjoying Kayle, as well. We'll see. The more I play, the more I can unlock, the more I can experiment. Now if only I had better hardware...
