One minor kibble: player 1 doesn't seem to have an iron of his own. The only irons visible in his screenshot are much closer to his neighbors; the one SW that is in the center area is 3 tiles from the other player's cap, and the one to the SE is 5 tiles from the player down there's cap, and will almost certainly be claimed as a second or third city by them.
But other than that, it looks great to me. I like the way you balanced the resources, especially. Hopefully this map will fare better than mine did.
Thank you for the comments. It wasn't the map, but the players that disappeared that caused the problems in the 1st try.
The iron doesn't show up correctly (too close to border I guess) in the player 1 shot, but you can see it on the shot describing middle area.
