I think maybe the Defensive Pact Ruff is referring to is an out-of-game agreement. (Or rather, not the kind enforced by the game).

IIRC, Darrell told Krill that he had a defensive pact with Ruff when Darrell pledged his one-sided game long NAP with Krill way back when. Krill didn't see a problem with that as he reckoned he could get domination by conquering Dreylin and Square Leg (which apparently he can).

Yeah, its part of the big secret treaty ruff signed with darrell in the beginning. It won't actually do anything in game since Darrell isn't an AI, but it will expose the game as a farce. Also by trading for Mill Trad Ruff can get a real defensice pact.

And guess what we can build with Uranium which Physics reveals? Those big bad destroyers, and cheap at 134 hammers for the big 30 strength. Just need to research to Combustion, and thankfully Dreylin will have SP to make out research that little bit faster, Mwahahaha.

(All the oil is in the ocean so requires Plastics to hook up.)

I'm pretty sure you need Fission to hook up Uranium, though, even though Physics reveals it.

That is definitely open for interpretation. Maybe Darrell will have to chime in once the game is over. FWIW, I don't think Darrell suspected the attack until Ruff started dropping hints.

Common, Darrell broke deals, blackmailed people to re-negotiate deals when he has advantage and settled that island when agreed to give to Krill.

Just because Krill posted that in his thread doesn't make it true . I guess this is one big downside of rarely updating your thread, people only get one side of a story.

Yeah, I jumped at first when reading that too... but really there's no problem. Krill and Darrell could just paste everything from the threads into private emails anyway, so thread access is just a shortcut.

This is basically what we said in our chat when we decided to allow access to each others' threads. Now granted, we also thought the game was about to end.
