I'd like to inquire about the possibility of the shell to implement the suggestions from this thread:

Something like this you mean?
Naaaah. Hmmm, maybe. Naaaah. Hmmm.
Have you seen the colors? And those buttons! It's just not right!!!

It will take a lot of time just to get the colors right.
Oh, the functionality is a piece of cake of course, but that doesn't count.

I've added a new section Requests to the initial post.

Would it be possible to make a feature that lets us customize our own starting wizard easily? Would be invaluable when setting up tournament games where the player is allowed to customize his wizard, was a pain in the ass for me to do it with various editors last time.

Sure, what are you thinking of (what was such a pain)?

Spells in particular, since I had to redo spells for each player from scratch. Imagine changing a wizard with 7 nature books for one with 3 sorcery, 4 life and 1 chaos book. And I had some problems changing home race, not all editors allowed me to do that.

Let me see if I understand you correctly.

Are you looking for a replacement of magic.exe? That is the program where you make your initial picks and when it is done, it autosaves the game and starts wizards.exe.

Or are you looking for a more advanced save game editor?

Features:
1. Set fields that were unknown in previous save game editors (like home race)? Joel should be able to fix that!
2. Change book selections of all wizards and generate spells randomly like magic.exe does?
3. Dialogs which are more user friendly than current save game editors?

Perhaps other features?

This is not a high priority if it's difficult to do. Basically, I need something that has the effect of letting me walk through the wizard creation process on the same map. It'll need to be able to do a full random selection of spells, in particular. I guess this and the home city are the only features it really needs.

For those people who do not know about or believe in suppression yet.
In the Tweaker you can inspect all stats that are kept by MoM during a battle.
This includes the suppression stat!jive

As Kyrub explained, when you attack a unit, its suppression counter is incremented.
An increased suppression counter reduces the To Hit of the unit.
At the beginning of each battle round the suppression counters are reset.

Btw, the downloadable version has been renewed with more known fields in the Battle Units.

Furthermore this version has been used for its first field test: to create the save games for tournament RB 1 (see tournament thread)!
The Tweaker is now, as far as I know, the only program (other than a hex editor) that gives you access to the home race of a wizard!jive

P.S.: Please note that the program is still in its proof-of-concept, sneak-preview phase, that is, not all buttons work quite as you would expect.
