Carry means late-game DPS, I'm not sure if it's because the team carries them to late game or they carry the team when they get them.

You are correct. If I am not mistaken, it's short for "miss", usually used together with the lane (top, mid, bot) to indicate an opponent has left the lane to possibly gank someone.

I always felt that the early-mid game was a little weak since I was saving all my gold for boots and BF Sword, but 3 Blades cover that nicely.

That being said, has anyone experience with early game mana problems on Twitch ? I know I should only use my skills to kill people, but after one ambush->slow->expunge I am oom and have to go back to base, even if I killed an opponent huh (otherwise I keep missing killls because of lack of mana).
Would it be prudent to use blue manareg runes ?
Yeah, one round of skills uses pretty much all Twitch's mana. I use Mana Regen per 5 per level Yellows and Blues on most of my ranged carries (armor pen reds, health quints).

It's the latter: They carry the team when they get them.

Yeah most people either say "miss" or "mia", but those who don't speak English very well usually just say "ss" which is sufficient.

And yeah, Carry usually refers to a champion that specializes in extreme damage in the late game (or earlier if fed with kills) that can carry their entire team to victory single-handedly. That's why if you are against a Master Yi or Twitch who is 8/0 after 25 minutes, you might as well surrender.

There's also "Hard carries" that further define the term, but I think that's just being pedantic at that point.

Sullla and Griselda: Maybe it would be useful to make a LoL subforum? There seems to be a lot of interest in this game just for one thread in the civ forum!

I considered raising the same point, but were still 1000 messages behind the Civ5 thread, and that game doesn't seem to warrant a new forum.

True, but this game has longer term potential, although it doesn't really have the easy of documentation that really allows civ4 PBEMs/SGs/turn reports to shine.

How often does Riot develop new champs? I've only been playing for a short while, but it seems like with the pace that they're producing them since I started playing in mid october after awhile finding unique abilities for each new champ would be hard to do.
