I heartily recommend getting Qin and Kublai to fight, on their own accord, in the early AD times. That will certainly be extremely helpful. 20 fewer units, a free ally, and slowed-down teching from Qin are very helpful in making it so effective.

Incredible Blitzkreig, worthy of the "Sulla" distinction (by that, I mean the literal, dictator-of-Rome, distinction). Nice game. The level of beakers you had was ASTOUNDING.
Humility, I'm realizing, is a wonderful thing (correction: I've known it's a wonderful thing, just never really happened to me ). Just when I think I'm cleanin' up, I go and look at game like yours, or someone else's, and am impressed.
Great job.

As usual, nicely played Sulla; I always enjoy reading your reports because they help me understand just *why* you do the things that you do!
I found it incredibly interesting that you delayed putting out any cottages for so long - and at how well it worked for you!
Also, the AI's grabbed the Oracle fairly early compared to your game - I went for the Oracle at around 975 BC and lost it by a decent margin (due to no small fact of barb enroachments on the southern borders). I thought it was great how you just tore Qin a new one (twice!), while he was my best buddy the entire game in mine! I think that reflects your decreased emphasis on religion, and more obviously, your warmongering goals for the game!

Sullla, I don't know why but I can't ever read your reports on your site. I can read the first two pages of Adventure 4 and then the "Back Homepage Next" Box that is usually on the bottom is not there.
The same thing happened with Epic 1 and Adventure 2 (I never did read the rest of those reports).
With Epic 1 however, I read the first 3 pages and couldn't get any further.
I checked a few days later though, and I could get to page 4 but not past that.
I have no idea what the problem is The only thing I could think if is 1. I'm missing an obvious link that says "Part 2" or 2. Your website just doesn't like me.
Any help from anyone would be much appreciated.
Edit: I just checked Epic 1 and Adventure 2 and I can't get past the first page on Epic 1 and I can't get past the 6th page for Adventure 2.

Amazing, so many similiarities between our games. Especially hte Oracle -> Code of Laws and the War Chariots plan. Unfortunately I am a horrible player late in the game and fell behind badly later on. Very nice read Sulla. Good game like always and amazing finish date, learned alot from your report.
Also seems you did much better with the barbarians in your game. Since nobody was near me, I didnt build many war chariots because I wasnt going to attack anyone. You built them and had a much easier time with the barb's, for me a completely different story :|.
Also wow, Kublai and Qin attacking eachother. In my game they were best buddies.

Knupp715, I don't know why you can't seem to read the reports. They are all setup for Internet Explorer, I don't know if you've got another browser giving you problems... Someone else couldn't view some of the pictures because they are saved as AD4-1.jpg, and that was showing up as an advertisement (AD! get it?) My guess is that it's something with the browser, maybe you can try another one (?)

Knupp715, you can always guess the URL of the next page and enter it manually. Sulla has numbered them ("http://civ4info.com/Sullla/civ4_adventure4_1.html", "...-2.html", "...-3.html" for this Adventure, for example), so if the navigation box is not displayed, just increase the number in the URL manually to open the next page.

I have Internet Explorer so I don't know what the problem is. I even allowed all pop-ups from your site because this is a very peculiar problem and I have no idea what it has to do with or what could help it so what the heck, it couldn't hurt right.
Good news though, today I can read the whole thing (and I'm going to make sure I do because tomorrow I might not be able to ).

Thanks for the tip Kylearan. If the problem persists again in the future I'll do this.
Edit: Just finished reading the report. Great Game Sirian
One thing though, everyone thinks the map is shaped like a giant S, and they are obviously disregaurding the B. From what I can see it is shaped like this:
b S - so maybe whichever player had to put up with the most BS this game will win the competition

Thanks for the great report. (Your reports were one of the things that brought me to this site.)
It looks like you had a very strong game, but were delayed by focus on modern age military. (You were researching Fashism and building Tanks while I was researching spaceship techs and building Factories, Labs and Wealth.)
Your empire at 1AD was a stronger than mine. Was it because of the difference in placement of first two cities? (My Thebes and Memphis were in the same place as Kylearan's.) Or because you mined your hills around Thebes and worked mines, instead of cottaged floodplains in early game?

We got the flipped around version of this template.
The default version looks like: S q
So no hidden messages. Just some variety in the shapes, so that we don't always have to play on octopus-shaped continents or large blobs.
