Default Elite mission weekend

On the heels of two PvP weekends comes somthing for the PvE players out there: a weekend where everyone able to access Cantha will have access to the Canthan elite missions via Kaineng Center.

From the Guild Wars site:
Quote:
This coming weekend offers special bonuses for players who enjoy missions, roleplaying, and unique items. Factions players will be granted access to all Canthan elite missions the entire weekend via an NPC in Kaineng Center. In addition, there will be double rare loot drops within Canthan Elite Missions during the weekend! This exciting weekend will begin on Friday, August 4, at 12:01 a.m. PDT (07:01 GMT) and will end Sunday, August 6, at 11:59 p.m. (that's Monday, August 7 at 06:59 GMT). We hope to see you there!
Farmers rejoice! Well anyways, some of us have beaten the pants off the Deep, so this'll be a chance to try out Urgoz without having to go through the pain of finding a ferry.

w00t? I agree. Well kind of. My Saturday-through-Monday schedule has plenty of RL stuff to accommodate. Oh well.

On a brighter note I had good reason to yell "w00t!" this morning too. So much so that my Guild Wars experience kept the smile on my face for the rest of the day. After a heart stopping piece of excitement, courtesy of Spirit Rifts in Zen Daijun, my Assassin went on to gain his Survivor title running around Wajjun Bazaar. As for Zen Daijun he slid through with his henchies in 19:21. 2 for 2 Masters. Damn this game's fun!

Haven't managed to get back into GW yet after moving and recently getting internet hooked up, waiting for something to catch my interest again and draw me back into playing it... and after not having the oppritunity to play this last weekend for the Nightfall preview, go figure I'm traveling starting the 4th.

As Lurker mentioned, would also have been a great time to try Urgoz.

Oh well.

I'll be gone most of Saturday, but I think I'll have time to do stuff the other two days of the weekend. Do we want to take a chance with fate and pick a day/time to meet up? I definitely want to give Urgoz a try this weekend, and the less time I have to spend looking for a team, the more I can spend inside.

Ok, so, I set Trillian up for MSN because both you and Hureg don't have/use AIM. Hureg never responded to me and you're always away. If you would set your status to something other than away for a change, we would probably have enough people to run around TA (or AB if we want, we've been playing tug of war with the Kurzicks and have pushed them back to Grentz (their equivalent to our Etnaran) but since that favors them, we haven't been able to do much thanks to un-co-ordinated teams), or we could borrow some people from the alliance and make a run at the HoH.

Ouch...

I never got a message that you added me.. maybe give me your contact info or try re-adding me.. as for the away status, just message me, I tend to just leave it set that way, but if I'm around, I'll answer.

Probably be back around the 14th, so maybe we can get something going then. I'd definitely like to give the HoH a try... and I still haven't seen Grentz area for AB yet.. still won't be able to commit to any specific times for a team, not right away at least.

This weekend (and next weekend) I'll probably have limited availability. While I'd like to give Urgoz a shot, I probably can't count on having that much uninterrupted time available. We'll see.

It's active now. Even if you won't have time to go through the entire mission this weekend, you should at least bring your characters to the zones so we can bring you via the guild hall at a later time.

WB had a good idea. He suggested parking our mules in the elite mission areas so we always have a ride over there if we need one.

Well my nudist is basically a mule now, so she's parked over in Urgoz's Warren until I can find a better place for her. So once the weekend is over and anyone needs a ride to the Warren, she'll be there.
