Oh, hello! Lol. It is all terrible. This is the very last instance when I try to play more than one game at the same time, I swear, the focus just isn't there. Terribly executed attempt to get the Oracle failed by one turn which transitioned into a terribly executed HA rush against Mjmd (failed against his wall of spears). To be clear, I could have easily succeeded both times, if only I planned everything as meticulously as I normally do. Now I am dead last in everything and have nothing to do but to vegetate. Nauf offered me to dogpile Superdeath in ten turns and I think I'll do that. SD is wrong to rely so much on one-move Praets with how sprawling an empire he has, so maybe something good comes out of it.

It's really a shame I wasn't able to play the game at my full strength: the map is fun and I could have won. The only high-level player here is mjmd (also Rustem but idk how much he participates) and he is playing a troll game where he builds all the wonders.

I've been a little wistful that I didn't get to play on this map, actually. What is it you like about the map? Could we see a wide shot of your claims/scouting?

I've been a little wistful that I didn't get to play on this map, actually. What is it you like about the map? Could we see a wide shot of your claims/scouting?

I like that the map is not particularly lush in general and there is a lot of variety in quality between different parts. I think it makes the gameplay much more complex and strategic where you need to go not just after "land" abstractly speaking but need to differentiate between what kind of land you go for. Screenshots will hopefully follow in a few hours after I get home from work.
