Congratulations on the win, and in very good time, too! You mentioned switching away from Judaism a few turns after every request, but you don't mention what you switch to, or why. From the screenshots, it looks like you were running no state religion most of the way through. Is that correct? Care to elaborate a bit on this strategy?

Right, I went with religious neutrality and spread all of my religions equally - 3 religions in every city, so that meant 3 temples and later another +3 happy from Free Religion. A large reason for remaining pagan most of the time was that the religious civics are expensive to run. Pacifism is okay, but it took way too long to get to given the stagnant start (it's good if you get it early). I did run a few short bursts of org.rel, though, especially right after being bullied into religion (I think I got one request from Hatty too).

Since I was neutral I had tolerable relations with everyone - open borders with all most the time, altough I snobbed Caesar after he attacked me.

Good game, Blake. For me, the best part was the forest chop to speed up the launch date!

Yeah I had one of those too - but I think it was Mansa attacking an Arabian city with a gunship as the final attacker. I thanked him by walking in on the next turn
