Adventure 11 - Ruff's Report

Good morning all ... another fine day for a game report.

Sorry to hear that your plans ran afoul of that eastern team. But did you know that you can get a Permanent Alliance without a defensive pact, IF you share a war for an extended period? That's how I got my permanent alliance! So maybe it would have been possible to ally with Cathy after all!

I hope the next game goes better (or did go better, seeing as how this was written a while ago!)

Thx Sully for the info re PAs. I (sort of) did know that but I was finding it very hard going teching to the PA techs. My tech rate is still not up to snuff ... something that I always seem to suffer from but I am tackling it in later games :really big grin:

Sounds like you had a bit of a frustrating game. I enjoyed reading the report though, so thanks!

The animated images were also neat, but I did feel the graphs flipped thrugh slightly too quickly for me ... I'd check the top-left to find out which one it was and barely had time to re-focus on the graph itself before it flipped, so a little bit more delay would be good for me!

Thx Draylin - it was a bit frustrating trying to stop the war but neither opponent would bring enough units for me to hurt them enough. I squashed my tech rate too because I didn't play Saladin well enough ... next game I play him, it will be better thx to this game, the reports and others regarding specialist driven economies.

I'll slow down the gif for next time ... it sure does save report space, making it easier to show all 5 graphs. I'm not going to do Catherine again (the gif) as it only took me 6 hrs to get it right :mad:

sorry to hear you retired, but that war must have been frustrating indeed. Good report, though! Thanks for doing it even for a retired game.

The Cathy animation was neat! However, I would prefer to view the graphs one at a time, seperately, and not in an animated GIF. I like to decide myself how long I want to stare at a graph.
