Here is my game report on Adv 13 . I learnt a few new things in this game and also pulled a M. Night Shyamalan regarding a twist in the tail ending.
One thing that I forgot to mention, I didn't get anything from that hut popped by my settler at Athens - did anyone?

Good report, Ruff. Nice circumnavigation move; I got it too with two boats sighting each other at that same place. Ouch on getting a Great Merchant killed.
I'm curious as to why you didn't seem to pursue a conquest victory? Did you not think your civ had the capability? Or were you concerned with first nailing down the 6 perfect city sites before doing anything else?
You went to great lengths to get that Iron, but for what did you actually use it? I didn't see any mention of swordsmen, knights, frigates, ironclads, or cannons. I went without Iron my whole game and hardly missed it.
Finally, since you said your game is already in shadowland I don't feel bad pointing this out: your screenshots show you're using that mod to identify the type of each Great Person. Was that approved for RBCiv events?

I got the circumnavigation there, too...
Good job grabbing both sea wonders! And congratulations with using so many merchants: they've helped me so much, even if I only used two.
Founding your 4th city, Corinth, in that weakish position didn't do you any good, since you couldn't get the iron, maybe you could have waited for a better place; the other locations were more aggressive and much better than mine, however. Thermopylae up there has surely been a clever move.

This game was about me getting my economy right, not about actually winning ... in my prior adv / epics, my economy sucked big time and so I was working on that aspect. By the time I thought about winning, it was too late to win any other way.

I was heading towards knights but never used them - skipping to Grenardia (how do you spell that?), destroyers and transports (assuming they need iron).

Grenadiers, gren-uh-deers. The word is of French origin, so it looks and sounds weird in English.

The mod that changes the GP names from "Harkuf" to "Harkuf (Merchant)". It's visible in several screenshots, including the first one on your page 2 (adv13-047.jpg). Here's the Civfanatics thread:

I'm sure it would be a simple matter of approval if someone were to officially propose it.

That is part of my SG mod and I had copied that mod to form my RB approved mod(s) folder. I deleted, or thought I had, all the non-approved mods ready to put in my approved clock mod. I bet that mod is XML based and not python and that I didn't clean out the XML part.
Great - my report is now a double shadow report!
And double crap - this will push Epic 8 into the shadow realm too.

I'm back home now and have checked my game machine for the offending XML - it isn't there (now). I also checked some other screenshots and they do not show the non-approved mod. I guess it was in my customassets for part of the game - not that I noticed when it snuck in there or when it was removed.
