Joining RB.

Hey guys, what all is involved in joining RB?

My roomate, myself, and at least one friend of mine would like to join.

Is being super active a big deal? Are membership slots at a premium in RB?

What faction does RB participate in?

Sorry if these questions are answered elsewhere on the site, I'm at lunch and can't really peruse it in depth. And as I recall, the first time I looked over the site I didn't see any of that information.

Thanks,
Matt aka ErkDog

RB is a friendly gaming community that formed from other games such as Diablo and Diablo II. I myself joined the community about one year ago, but only in GW. So I'll try to answer the questions as best as I can.

As far as I know, there are no requirements for joining RB. Just act proper and accordingly with the EULA of GW. It isn't some grade school or high school guild.

No need to be super active. Sometimes the guild list only comprises of me and...well...me (my mule account). Our guild roster is not full, so until that time, or unless someone proves to be a real problem, we do not kick anyone from our guild. Early this year we had some people leave due to lack of interest in Factions or other priorities and have now come back to rejoin us in Nightfall.

We are part of a Luxon alliance. We do not faction farm or require people to donate a certain amount of faction to the alliance, but you are more than welcome to do so.

Right now our guild is mainly PvE oriented, but some members are getting into the PvP aspect of the game as well.

Hopefully someone with more info will come along and post more. thumbsup
If you believe everything you read, better not read.

Basically what Seijin said is right. If you want more infortmation (and I would recommend reading it) these two pages tells you pretty much all about RB.

Feel free to PM me in game, and I'll send the invites if you'd like. (Just add Soul Flayer and PM me from there.. easier than writing out all 9 character names =P)

Truth is stranger than fiction, because fiction has to make sense.

I'll just echo what the others have said and say hello and welcome.

I'd also like to add that if you're interested in GvG or trying out the variant we're starting (Living off the Land), you're more than welcome to join those as well. We don't have any rank or faction, etc. requirements for anything, just that you have fun and be respectful of the people you game with.

My IGN is Lurker Wyrm and I'm on... a lot.

I'll also jump on the bandwagon and say Hello and Welcome!

The others have covered the RB specifics, as few as they are, quite well. The main thing is to have fun, and enjoy the game - and make it enjoyable for your guildmates as well. We try to help each other out progressing through the game, and run variant teams from time to time. We're not big on farming for anything - we play the game just to play.

As Seijin mentioned, we're part of a Luxon alliance. The website for our alliance's lead guild is here - you might want to take a look at that as well. All of the Alliance is pretty laid back about faction, and are a great bunch of folks.

Hope to see you in-game; my main character name is Hawkmoon of Realms.

This will make it easier to recognize who is who and get organized online.
My recommendation is for everyone to make a character under the name you post with.

Delete the character if you want. The deleted name will still show when other people mouse over your current character name in the guild panel

Welcome to the fold smile
