To make you feel better I'll give my thoughts in your thread
![]() Cristo Redentor allows 1 turn between civics changes, not zero turns. - Well, the worst abuse was the ability to rush buy/whip/draft in turn and then get back to your economic civics before ending. Wonder is still too powerful, and I will continue to do Radio beelines when I'm not Spiritual. Customs House and Feitoria give +100% Foreign trade route income - I assume this is for intercontinental routes only, otherwise these buildings are way too powerful. Reduced inflation and better normalized it with game speed Inflation no longer increases after the game time limit has been reached Adjusted corporation maintenance for inflation Corporation Headquarters give 4 gold per corporation city to balance corporation immunity to inflation - I guess these are okay...they will help the AI more than anything. Great Works brings city out of revolt, as before BTS - Good. Colony maintenance capped at twice the distance maintenence - No mention if FP affects colony maintenance, but I'm guessing it will. The AI fixes look good as well, although its hard to tell without lots of playing. I wonder if this is the last official patch for CIV? The missing change was the early Great Spy from the Great Wall. I've also heard independently from Alex Mantzaris that the 3.13 patch should be out sometime next week. So long as that's true, I plan to open up both Epic 14 and Adventure 23 on the same day, September 24. We'll be back to our regular schedule after that - sorry for the delays...

Any chance to stagger a bit? For those of us with limited time to many interesting games at once is frustrating. VoiceOfUnreason Wrote:And if it is not true? Previous experience suggests the need for a contingency planIf absolutely nothing appears from Firaxis next week, I can put together a quick game (3-week duration) for everyone to toy around with. In this case though, I've heard from multiple different sources that v3.13 will be out next week. At some point, you simply have to trust the word of the developers. I choose to do so here. ![]() LKendter Wrote:Any chance to stagger a bit? For those of us with limited time to many interesting games at once is frustrating. There's always a conflict between having more time for each scenario, or more scenarios overall. I'm trying my best not to overload the community with scenarios, but I also don't want to be in the situation where there's only a single game running - one which may not appeal to many players. At the moment, we actually have four different proposals from community members just waiting to be added to the schedule. I'm not planning on rushing anything over the next few months, but I won't be slowing things down either. Most people seemed largely satisfied with the pace of scenarios when I last asked for a poll, so I'm sticking with my guns for the moment. I'm trying to have the scenarios listed on the website earlier than before to make it easier to pick and choose which look the most interesting. That involves extra work... but I know it helps many of you. ![]() Quote:Colony maintenance capped at twice the distance maintenence So does this mean that under State Property, there will be no colony maintenance (since under SP, there is no distance maintenance) ? I hope so. |
