The Wild at Stonehenge

King of Pain's Black Licorice, Nougan's Chobit, and Bede made a foray into The WIld last night and made it all the way into Deepest Wild before being defeated by the scope of the monsters and the map. The session ended with three ghosts standing in a circle wondering where in hell the gravestones were.

Lots of varied terrain and a good mix of monsters. Lots of flying dragons in the low lying lands and some very vicious ground pounders in the uplands.

I think it is a good place for exploring in a group and collecting XP. Bede entered The Wild having just reached level 33 and by the end of the session had grown to level 34.5. The demons get stronger the farther and deeper you go.

Much fun was had.

FUN. And that Chobit has a nose for chests (cus he's so short?) [Image: lol.gif]

Hope party portals are working now in SH. I guess we will see tonight.

It's because I spent a skill point in "Find Chest" under the Engineer Drone tree ala the Find Item skill of the Barbarian in D2. Don't bother trying to find that skill for your engineer. This skill is hidden, I hacked the game to uncover it! lol (j/k)

BTW, WTB lawnmower in game so I can mow down those darn long grass in the Wild. Most of the times I can't use Tactical Stances in the Wild, cos when I do, all I can see is grass... And I'm already wearing platform boots. 8)

I do wish FSS would give us more purpose to go to the Wild, like a unique boss at the deepest level, who would drop some uniques only available there, and/or maybe some special tokens, which we can collect and exchange for some cool items from NPCs... these items can be weapons, armors, or even dye kits, respec tokens... Kinda stole this idea from WoW.

XP is sweet thou, I gained a level there too.
