Here is my report on Adv26 . It was a very tough game and I got within 3 turns of winning - oh so close, but not close enough.
I have finally decided to put down some cash and register a website. It is www.ruffhi.com. Now I remain free to move the hosting options without having to change the name of the site.

Very fun report Ruff, and a pleasure to read.

It's also fun to see a BlueMarble based BtS report with the pretty cloud backgrounds. Can I assume your BlueMarble install has not been giving you any problems with your multiplayer games?

BlueMarble (BM) doesn't play nice with MP? What is the issue? Actually, my SP machine is different from my MP machine so that might explain it. I will check if I have MB install on my MP machine tonight.

Did some snooping at CFC ...

Warning: Civ4-BtS currently (V3.02) contains a bug and Multiplayer crashes on using alternative graphics. Until Firaxis releases a bug fix, Blue Marble cannot be used for BtS-Multiplayer. Sorry.

Excellent writeup. I laughed out loud when I saw how close you came to victory. Didn't Captain Kirk implement a similar strategy?

What? Change the rules of the game as it progresses - I'm sure that Kirk did that all the time.
