Plot List Unit Information Mod Approval?

RB Plot List Unit Information Mod

I'm submitting this mod seeking approval for its use with RB events. The aim of this mod is to improve the ability to locate units in the plot list (see below). The mod adds the following items to the unit icons in the plot list.

• Small description of the units current action - the available actions are: Patrol, Heal, Sentry, Skip, Explore, Auto Build, Auto City, Auto Network, Go To, Fortify
  
• Light blue border around the unit icon if the unit has a promotion available
  
• Small gold star near dot top left if the unit is a Leader (ie combined with a Great General)
  

The files included in this mod are:

• various DDS (art) files containing the required art work in the \customassets\Art\PlotListEnhancements directory
  
• modified 'CvMainInterface.py' file in the \CustomAssets\Python\Screens directory
  
• expanded 'CIV4ArtDefines_Interface.xml' file in the \CustomAssets\XML\Art that contains links to the art files

who is the god of mod approvals that I need to talk to about this?

Whoops, how did I miss this earlier? My apologies.

Before ruling on a decision, I'd like to hear some opinions from other community members. Although this is indeed a graphical mod, it DOES provide information quickly and more easily than the standard game interface. Does this constitute enough of an advantage to merit disavowal in RB-sanctioned competitions? Please let me know what you think.

If the mod gives you an extra promotable Pikeman in every stack, that seems a bit unfair.

gees - I hope you are joking about this . I had to add the pikeman because I had promoted all of the other units. Ok - so sue me, the unit stacks aren't 100% the same.

I'm a big fan of free pikemen, so I can't help but support the mod.

Actually, I see it as a convenience not a game-changer and would support the mod even without the free pike.

Full disclosure: I have no plans to use the mod even if it is approved.

I believe there was some recent discussion about whether "We Have Enough On Our Hands" should be pulled forward onto the main interface of the BUG mod.

Just a short comment about the above quote ... sure, the elements I am trying to get approved here are part of BUG but I am not proposing to 'back door' BUG by incremental steps. To be honest, these unit list plot items are my fav part of BUG by so far it isn't funny.
