Changelist looks fine, no big shocks which is nice. The main things are the colony buyfix, the resource trade bugfix and the AI bugfixes. The no-espionage option might be put to good use too. Better late than never Firaxis thumbsup

If you look at the thread from the bug fixes, it sounds like the No Espionage option actually causes its own share of problems. The spy specialists and Great Spy producing wonders still produce GP points, but they are for no great person in particular. Check out the thread at CivFanatics -- there are a few scenerios listed of how this can be exploited.

I think the change summary is a bit misleading - at least, there have been some surprises in the diffs I've been spot checking.

I don't know how to code-dive, but what's considered the counter-unit to archers? I'm talking about the archer barb event.

No promises that I'm doing this correctly, but - archer barbs sound like the Vedic Aryans. According to CvRandomEventInterface.py, the counter unit is UNITCLASS_ARCHER.


Interesting - it looks like you can predict which square the barbs will spawn on.
