I haven't finished my game yet so I will not be reporting on it today. I hope to finish it tomorrow or over the New Year break. Then knock up a quick report.

Anyway, here are my sponsor's comments.

Oh - did anyone notice the typo on the game write up? It just shows that Griselda posts exactly what you submit.

I liked the setup nicely done. I missed on those city placement a bit, didn't notice that. But i did grab the iron smile.Speaking about difficulty, the game is very well balanced, nicely done I must admit.

About that T-Hawks comment for Epic20, I have to agree. I tried Epic20 to play twice and lost both times by AIs early assaults. Now I am skilled enough to usually run over Monarch AIs but that epic seems to me kinda hard. Too hard..

I FINALLY was able to at least partially play through a game, but I broke the concept by popping metal very early on, and combined with the lagging AI, I didn't have the heart to keep playing.

I liked the game setup, and hopefully it attracted other people as well

My shadow was a domination victory in 1724. I was planning on holding my territory and going for space but the AIs just wanted to fight - got bored so took the fight to them. I will write up a formal report and post it to my site soon-ish.

I've been waiting for a "closing day" thread, but it looks like I can go ahead and post, eh? I'll put my report up tonight (I went on the aggressive side ...)

It was a very fun game, I just wish I knew how unspectacular the AI starts were before playing so I could have tried something more unique.
