It seems that you are pretty familiar with medieval warfare. Do you play medieval start games often?

I never played a medieval start in a game with other people. Its very new for me.

I have a strategy, but its good just untill i see the map.

As i promissed here its the update.
First lets see how i setled:



Why this way i could get a better capitol going where the archer its now, more gras and anothe clam, well but this way i would had to waitt 4 more turns to improve the wheat which its a no in my book.I think for the second city the poztion was obvious.

I am sure that shoot dint setled like this and others too, why because they are behind in the food.

So yeah they are alredy behind on the food production, and all will say the produce workers will make them grow faster....My question its to improve what tiles?

Whiping when working a 3 food tile its same strong like working a 6 production tile so cooper its not imediatly needed.You could say well you have Mathemtics so use workers to chop...

Great library, and national epic very early.

The plan its already made i will get a boat from capitol and whip a setler at size 6 from my second city and go and claim the marble.Of coursei will have a workboat to net the fish same turn.So will take just 7 turns to get to size 4 after i which i whip a teatre.


Why i am researching machynery, I intend to lightbulb astronomy so i need machinery and optics.
First i will get philo(again with a scientist) and switch to pacifism and get fast second scientist and great merchant from second city to get civil service.So i expext by turn 30 to have :amchinery, optics, civil service, and several turn to finish Astro.

I am getting gold becasue i intend to build a library so why dont benefit from that.

in the rules says blocades are forbiden just for triremes an galeys.can you see any benefit from here?do you know how broken the blocades are?

And the second benefit its in the viking nation 5 speed galeons with some zerkers on deck,how that sound?

Why did you choose Justinian of the Vikings?

lets see few reasons:

1. spiritual its a must because else to many turns are wasted: first revolt to slavery , monarchy and org religion,then revolt for religion, after revolt for burocracy, then revolt for caste to get a merchant or a scientist, revolt in teocracy when go to war, cheap temples are just a small bonus.
2.other good option for a seconnd trait was PHilo(which was took by dave), financial and imperialist. So mansa Musa was alot of time my option but this would involved a strategy to buil colosus and get 4 comerce water tiles, as you see a litle against my strategy for a very fast astronomy so this led me to Justinian.
3.With Vikings i get my UB for free iits not that cool?

I met Shoot and one of his archers is near me, but he decided to dont pester me.

Nest turn i will setle the marble and i will have fish hook up so yay.I think i will be first to 3 cities and having a library and a great one in next 4 turns.
