Minutemen replaces Musketman. Well we all had to have a middle game unit somewhere

Ability. I see them first that should be helpfull if when we end up fighting each other.
The buying land cheaper um sure if I get the gold . . .

I choose worker first because I see 3 tiles that I should improve within my terratory and worker turn in the begining are so damm slow.

I will be geting a scout or 2 asap for fog pushing back.

From the picture resources are plenty full I see 3 different luxury resources for me. jive

I am also at the bottom of the map cry

I hope I find better land soon or I might just have to rush somone and take their better land for me.

plains are very good.

I am gona try to explore and rush up the tech tree with minimal units.

Turn 2

Last turn I found that ancient ruins down there. I am choosing the risk leaving for a scout because the few test games I put together ruins had about a 1/3rd chance of advanced weapons(all 6 ruin pops). Scouts go to archers which are nicer then warriors going to spears. Ofc ignoring terrain costs for an acual military unit is the best part of all.

I'd take Wesnoth style graphics over CiV any day but then I tend to be more function over form type of person.

Not to mention a game that acualy does what it was suposed to do.

CiV an empire game where building anything has huge costs.

Wesnoth a fantasy battle simulation with elves, orcs, and other crazy monster. And the only thing you impact are your units and what they attack.

Hahaha, exactly. Enough people have summed it up much better than I ever could though so I'll leave it to them. I'm just super glad you guys volunteered to play this game so I could watch you all suffer through this.

The reasoning for the path is that I get will grab culture for barb kills off the bat.

Then I get culture and happiness for military police in my cities.

After the culture from military boost I grab FREE military police. So I could acualy have an army during peace even if it is spread out everywhere.

Lastly geting free happiness from miltary buildings means I get more happyness for no per turn cost.

I tried the other map view when taking screen shots this turn. I would apreciate feedback on what is more prefered for map updates.

My warrior in on the hill directly south of the ruins. Now I get to debate again if I want to save for a chance at mobile archer or if I grab next turn.
